-Defense will be better than the offense, at least to start. Finch likes to let the offense breathe and then corral it, defense should be good if they rebound -Ant will start slow. It’s taken him a while to get into game shape in previous years. How many games before he dunks?

-Trey Lyles plays a ton. I bet he finishes 8th in minutes. Just fits a gaping need at a competent level/unlike anyone else off the bench. He’s also the only Rudy/Joan injury insurance -Tim Connelly “steps away”. Too much weirdness there, think the Matt Lloyd era is coming soon

-Offense will hit its stride in the back half of the year - like the hornets last year and the Wolves Pat Bev year -Lose to the Thunder or Spurs in the playoffs. This is the bridge year where they figure out what this team needs and how to fully optimize. Will be a blast tho

Super cool and fair price extension (1YR/40) for Jaden He’s at 26 mil for this year which is 15.8 % of the cap 40 in 2029/30 season is projected to be about 18% So before you over react to 40 million consider the substantial amount the cap is gonna go up

I think the writing is on the wall (given limited trade assets and practically the whole team being up for extension next offseason (including the coach and POBO) Probably 2 of TSJ Ayo Donte Kuminga Will be gone and replaced with better fitting size/ball handling

Julius is gonna be great on a losing team/similar to what happened w/ MPJ. Still an all star talent in his early 30s His time here ended terribly and he’s a flawed player/it was time to move on But I think he’ll go down as one of the most underrated Wolves ever

Sandwiched between the KAT/Rudy double big + Ant ascension and this Ant/Melo/Jaden era - Julius was a huge part of the Wolves winning 3 playoff series in 2 years, averaging 20/7/5. Not saying a ton considering the Wolves’ brutal history, but how many other Wolves can say that?
