Two days ago, on my birthday, I visited the childrenโ€™s ward to share snacks and writing materials with the children, something I do whenever I have some free time. There was a little boy, around 7 years old, whom I had come to know during my previous visits. He had been in the hospital for over three months, undergoing different treatments. That day, I met his mother crying outside the ward. When I asked her what was wrong, she told me she was exhausted. There had been no improvement, the hospital bills were becoming unbearable, and she didnโ€™t know how much longer she could continue I comforted her and encouraged her to keep hoping for the best. Today, after my exams, I went back to check on them. When I saw that the boyโ€™s bed had been packed, I thought they had finally been discharged. I asked the nurse about them. She told me the little boy had died early that morning. My heart sank I kept thinking about his mother and everything she had been through trying to save her child. May God give his mother the strength to bear this loss๐Ÿ’”

He was planning to take me to see his parents when he casually saidโ€ฆ โ€œIf I were living abroad, I wouldnโ€™t get married. Itโ€™s only because Iโ€™m in Nigeria, where my parents would keep pressuring me to get married, that Iโ€™m considering it. I donโ€™t fancy marriage.โ€ I said, โ€œWhat? Thank you ooo for saying this out loud. So you donโ€™t fancy marriage, but you want to marry so you can come and suffer another personโ€™s daughter.โ€ He thought I was joking, but I was dead serious. I left him for good. I want a man who genuinely loves marriage, not someone getting married just to fulfil righteousness.
What's one sentence someone said that made you end the friendship /relationship?

Guy Iโ€™m one month pregnant for Emeka, Emeka is not ready for marriage I was only using him to cure konji. I have two other men Okechukwu and Dickson. Okechukwu is not fine but he has money, with big stomach, while Dickson is fine with no money but he wants to settle down. Who should I pin the pregnancy on? Please help a sister. Should I pin it on Okechukwu since he has money and manage his big stomach?. I think Okechukwu can give my child and I a better life? Help a sister ๐Ÿ‘‡

Last week, I received a call from my mechanic, whose wife had just given birth. He couldn't contain his excitement, so he called to inform me that he wouldn't be at the shop to service my car and that his boys would handle it. I said okay, that's fine. I even asked for his account number and sent him โ‚ฆ45k to support his family. I warned him not to give my car to untrustworthy people ooo. He said everything was fine. 24 hours later, my car was nowhere to be found. I called this man, but he wasn't picking up. The next day, I went to his shop and found him shouting at his boys. What happened?.....

I was raped and became pregnant. People around me told me to have an abortion. They said a rapist didn't deserve to have children and that I didn't deserve to carry my rapist's child. I understood their anger, but I told them: "Isn't this baby mine too? Isn't that enough of a reason for me to love and want my child?" My sister looked at me and said, "Bitch, please. You probably deserved to be raped." Everyone in the room went silent. Not one person defended me. Not one person spoke up for me. That was the last time I ever saw them. My daughter is four years old now, and she's doing well. I'm married now, and my husband is her real father in every way that matters. He may not be her biological father, but he loves her, raises her, and shows up for her. That's what makes him her dad. I honestly don't know how I would have survived the grief if I'd ended that pregnancy. Every day, I look at my little girl and feel grateful that she's here. I thank God for giving me the strength and resources to leave that toxic environment, for giving me the chance to rebuild my life, and for blessing me with a man who loves both of us the way we deserve to be loved. My daughter was conceived through an act of violence, but she has grown up surrounded by love. And today, I know that my past does not define my future. I was not responsible for what happened to me. I did not deserve it. And neither did my daughter deserve to be defined by the circumstances of her conception.

Are there no dress standards in churches anymore? Well I donโ€™t think any Pentecostal church will join a union with this type of dressingโ˜น๏ธ

Just because you liked them in the past doesn't mean you still like them now. Some people assume that once you have feelings for them, youโ€™ll always feel the same. Meanwhile, you don't even like the version of yourself that once liked them.

Iโ€™m trying so hard to be an extrovert, but sometimes I catch myself moving out of character. Iโ€™ll do something, then immediately start asking myself, What did you just do right now? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
