We’re getting closer and closer to having the first DEX live on @Conste11ation
It’s been a long road, but the finish line is in sight and Pacaswap is bringing something huge
On the surface it looks like a regular DEX, but it unlocks one of the most important things we’ve been missing: swapping any L0 token without needing it listed on a centralized exchange.
It also brings a new level of participation.
You can provide liquidity and earn from trading fees.
You can run a Pacaswap node and help process transactions while sharing in protocol rewards.
You can join the DAO and vote on how incentives are distributed, what pairs are supported, and what changes the protocol should adopt.
Even just using Pacaswap becomes a way to engage with the network and support new projects launching on Constellation.
For the metrics crowd, this is the first time we’ll have DeFi-native numbers to track on-chain.
Total Value Locked shows how much capital is committed.
Swap volume reflects actual user demand.
Liquidity depth helps traders understand price impact and slippage.
Fee revenue gives us a sense of economic activity. Metagraph snapshot fees ties it all back to network value.
These are the kinds of metrics investors and analysts look for when judging the health of a protocol.
