Dan Miller has been the voice of the Detroit Lions on the radio since 2005. He was in the booth for all 16 losses in 2008, and for the win that finally ended the 19 game losing streak. Her name was Cynthia. Everyone called her Cindy. They met when she was working at the Westwood One Radio Network. He was a broadcaster and so was the room she was in. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985. She was a news producer for ten years. Then she spent five years teaching preschool. Her obituary says she had "a way of lighting up any room she entered." It calls her charismatic, funny and fearless. She was 63. On Sunday Dan Miller was not in the booth. Jason Benetti filled in, and on the air he called Dan "a fantastic voice of the Lions for more than two decades." Detroit beat the Arizona Cardinals 45 to 21.
