Today was so much fun playing Left Field for the first time in years! I went 4 for 4 and 2-3 at the plate with a single and double. Find a coach who believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself and greatness is achieved. In my years of playing softball I’ve had plenty coaches some positive and some not but when I tell you a coach can ruin the sport they definitely can but also a coach can make you love the game again. When you have a coach that believes in you it makes your wins and losses that much greater. So find you a coach that will celebrate your highs but also be there at your lows to help you through it by coaching you not yelling or screaming but genuinely caring enough to help you. The past 2 months has felt like an eternity. Not playing softball was so hard for me and I had to overcome not only physical but mental challenges as well. I really overcame a lot of fear today from my injuries and it felt amazing.
