With the Lancia Megagamma in 1978 Giorgetto Giugiaro proposed the concept of European MPV: the same engine and wheelbase of actual Gamma but less overall length for more space inside. The 1964 Autobianchi Primula introduced the FWD formula for every modern hatch.

Here two italian Citroën CXs with 2 litre engine: a 1975 Super in Brun de Roquebrune colour and a 1977 Pallas in Gris Largentière colour. The oldest one is a very early MY1976, while the other one is a very late MY1977. Appreciate the orange blinker especially made for Italy.
