💬 "Aujourd'hui, la Fédération ne respecte pas le code du sport, notamment les exigences relatives au fonctionnement démocratique des instances fédérales. Il y a aussi une situation sociale compliquée avec une grande souffrance des personnels. Malgré les nombreux échanges nourris avec les différents ministres et les demandes adressées à la Fédération pour qu'elle fasse évoluer ses statuts, ceux-ci ne sont toujours pas conformes...
Dans le rapport il y a aussi, je le dis avec beaucoup de précaution, des suspicions de conflits d'intérêts. Ces éléments ont donné lieu à un signalement auprès du procureur de la République. (...) Les discussions ont été engagées dès 2018, dans le contexte de l'application de la loi NOTRe, et se sont poursuivies depuis lors. Le ministère n'est donc pas resté inactif : de nombreux échanges ont eu lieu avec la Fédération afin de l'inciter à modifier ses statuts et à se mettre en conformité avec les règles applicables. Malgré ces démarches, aucune évolution satisfaisante n'a abouti. Aujourd'hui, la situation ne s'est pas améliorée. Il faut donc en tirer les conséquences et dire stop.
L'idée n'est pas de mettre le sport automobile français à terre, bien au contraire, c'est de remettre les choses dans le bon ordre."

The FIA World Motor Sport Council has approved a new championship structure for 2027, with the Manufacturers’ Championship set to be replaced by two new titles:
The FIA WRC Constructors’ Championship: Constructors must compete in every round of the season to be eligible for the title 🌏
WRC Teams’ Championship: Contested over seven nominated events, including a compulsory overseas round and the season finale 👀
Both championships will be exclusive to the Rally1 category 🔥
