Last Friday my oldest and her husband were involved in an accident. A red light runner smashed into the front of their vehicle (black smashed up car below)
No scrapes, bumps, of even a bruise.
I hesitate to share this but I want everyone to know, some of us keep our lives close to the cuff and express little of the drama in our lives. It's okay for those who do. Every single person behind the phone and keyboard here has a pulse and has good and bad times in lives. Lift each other up always. Encourage each other.
Everyone has private struggles and private victories. I'm among a great circle of people who love video games and nostalgia and I'm not about to rebuke you over a differing opinion. Life's too hard on its own. As the Wyld Stallyn's once said:
"Be excellent to each other."

Pixel art was MADE to be viewed on a CRT TV. The blooming, scanlines, etc are part of the image that smooths it out, blends colors together, and gets rid of the harsh edges.
The original game artists created everything with that analog distortion in mind, so the raw pixels aren't necessarily what they intended you to see.
Don't get me wrong, raw pixels can look cool too! And if you like that look, then by all means go for it.
But it's worth trying a nice CRT shader on them to see if you might like it even better!

I was gifted this KI2 control panel by a super awesome guy on the @OvertimeArcade discord! It's in really great shape and Kim Wu's toes look the same as the repo overlay I got. The weirdness is the fishnet she's wearing. Yes I'm installing convex IL buttons.
