yeah, in a perfect world we'd have one more frontcourt guy for depth/injury insurance, but I just don't see Joan looking like some sort of liability at this point. He has strengths and weaknesses, like most bench guys.
the Joan concern isn't playing him as Rudy's backup, it's needing him for 30 minutes on nights Rudy doesn't play.
other than 3 or so possessions struggling to guard Bam, it hasn't been painful?
