Good example here from @CLOSER_UK of benefits found when linking survey and hospital admissions data - identification of key patterns not otherwise identifiable in either single dataset.
4/ By linking HES data to socioeconomic measures in @CO90s, the researchers found rates of hospital admissions were 22% higher and A&E attendances were 58% higher among those whose mothers were not educated beyond GCSE, after taking account of other factors.
