Help! I’ve just discovered that there will be yet another balloon release in Horsforth on 7th Nov. There has been a number of these over the last 3 years and we have stayed very quiet in respect and kindness to the situation. But really it’s time to stop petition.parliament.uk/petit…

Can't afford to leave the privatised water scam? A massive, high value, smart suited, fancy office, rogue trader operation propped up by lies and an outsmarted government promoting those lies.. westenglandbylines.co.uk/bus…

Public ownership of water is here for the doing if a big slice of the NGO world will just stop being scared to support it or wanting a slice of customers' money. Forget new regulation, we need to end the incentive for criminal pollution and that incentive is privatisation. Finally, the government dropped the pro private myths under a barrage of evidence from MPs. windrushwasp.org/single-post…

Sign the petition. Let water companies go bust. Ofwat approved 36% bill increases for 2025-2030, companies want more. Prices doubled - in real terms - since privatisation. We got sewage in rivers, water outages, hosepipe bans. Need public ownership. weownit.org.uk/news/were-tel…

"Southern Water fined Β£2.4m over multiple incidents of sewage pollution in Kent." That of course is on top of the Β£7.1 million they were fined back in July, the Β£90 million they were fined back in 2021, or the 107 environmental offences they've been found guilty of in the last 15 years. Really, what is the point? itv.com/news/meridian/2026-0…

Our privatised water system is a disgrace. In Parliament this week, I called for water to be brought back into public ownership. A massive thank you to the 200,000 people who secured this debate by signing a petition - including hundreds from East Leeds who added their name.

Yesterday was an absolute whirlwind. We finally saw a record number of MPs step up and support public ownership of water, something I’ve spent years fighting for. To top it off, I got to chat with @BeckyHill, who dropped by to show her support, look me in the eye, and say, β€œThis is the Hill I’ll die on.” Public ownership of water is closer than ever. Help us get to the finish line by adding your name πŸ‘‡

What is keeping privatised water alive? Myths, lies, and a series of governments who hid the truth, but now it is out. For 37 years, governments have presented billpayers as captive prey to the scam of the century. Now it is time to end it
Today MPs will debate a petition of more than 200,000 signatures on holding a referendum to nationalise the water industry. "Every year since privatisation has been another year of evidence to show that the industry has become a simple cash extraction tool," @WindrushWasp founder Ash Smith tells @BBCr4today.

I’ve written to my MP @KatieJWhite to attend this debate on referendum on 14th but had no reply. Please sign the petition to show MPs how constituents feel about #DirtyBusiness
Almost at 200,000 signatures and still 11 days left until the debate in parliament. How fantastic would it be to that over 250,000 by the end of next week?

I’ve highlighted this for7 +years and absolutely zero has changed, I’m worn down now campaigning on this, if anyone fancy’s writing to MP or to Leeds council on why when they grant the fest permit they don’t enforce them to do better in encouraging people to take their stuff home

"β€˜Tiny bit of rain and the sewage comes’." If I remember correctly when they tested the DNA of the E. coli at Brighton Pier it turned out to be human. Yes human sewage in the water next to Brighton Pier. theguardian.com/environment/…
