Going months at sea without seeing a single ship is crazy. That’s the kinda life we live.

A Traveler at Sunset — By Bruno Catalano in Viareggio, Italy 🇮🇹 Most of the traveler’s torso is missing, while the suitcase links the upper and lower sections. Sunset light shows through the open body. The piece was part of Catalano’s monumental exhibition in Viareggio, which ran from June 2022 to September 2023. Such a beautiful art!😊

This is the video. The 3yrs old boy is so good, other older boys couldn’t take the ball from him. Their parents had to call the cops on him.
just saw one of the funniest and most unbelievable videos ever. A group of white parents called the police on a 3-year-old Black footballer simply because he’s so good with the ball, and the 5-year-old boys couldn’t take it from him. They had to remove him from the team and refund his parents' fees.

Someone once told me that she’s a Christian that has found a balance for both Godly things and worldly desires. Bro! I was perplexed 😂😂
Exactly We’re raising a generation or rather we’re a generation that only wants God for the goods and not the cross This has been bothering me since my friend said she’s a “God Baddie”

Whatever is capable of scaring me, must be more terrifying than the rage of a storm. Have you ever been in a situation where there’s absolutely nothing you can do to remedy your situation? I’ve. At sea.

A pastor once told my mom to use the money she was using to feed her family to pay tithe when things were tough for her.
According to Pastor Korede Komaiya, you should give him your entire month’s salary rather than use the money to pay your house rent or your children’s school fees. 👀

I’ve seen so many people who were deeply fervent churchgoers in Nigeria, but experienced a sharp decline in their spiritual life the moment they moved abroad. This happens primarily because most of the things they spent years praying for, and that pastors blessed them to receive, are basic necessities they can easily access over there. Now, one could argue they didn’t truly know God, and that’s a fair point. But they didn't know Him because their pastors never truly taught them the primary gospel of Jesus Christ. Instead, the main thing they were taught about Jesus was simply how much He could bless them financially or materially. The truth is, many sermons preached in Nigeria would be completely useless if taken to wealthy nations or preached to rich folks. Many Nigerian pastors know the reality on the ground, that the majority of their audience is struggling financially, so they weaponize get-blessed-quick messages to keep people engaged.
If your message excludes a certain class, it is not the gospel of Christ. The prosperity gospel is quite ironic because even Jesus talked a lot about how difficult it would be for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God, and constantly talked against money worship.

I met a lady who recently moved back from the United States to set up a telemedicine clinic in Abuja. She was so heartbroken as she shared how almost everyone she had worked with had exploited her, either by directly stealing or inflating prices. She was just sad that she couldn’t find a single honest person to work with. One piece of advice I always give to anyone starting a service business is learning to be honest. Honesty is an invaluable currency. Invest in building a reputation for integrity, and people will comfortably trust you with their business and transactions.
“I almost lost my job while working with Kizz Daniel and Davido. Whenever I booked Davido for a show, he paid me a 10% commission. On one occasion, I booked him for an event organized by his uncle’s friends. Davido asked how much they were paying, and the amount was exactly what I had told him.” — Ubi Franklin
