So proud of @BirmCons students for their absolutely BRILLIANT first night of Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld last night. The Opera Now critic was impressed too - 5 stars!
Looking forward to seeing the other cast tomorrow night - can’t wait!

Impressive performance of an unjustly neglected piece from @chelseaopera Group @cadoganhall tonight. Strong work from the orchestra & valiant chorus with solid and committed principals, all under the firm leadership of @pjwingfield. Bravi tutti!

Immensely proud of the work on Butterfly @BMusic_Ltd this week, not only as rep but over the last few months as casting consultant on 9 of the 13 roles including forging a relationship with @RBCVocal. 1/3

Great performance of Madam Butterfly by @TheCBSO & @yamakazu_takt tonight @BMusic_Ltd Symphony Hall.
It was the last performance I helped plan so it was especially pleasing to see 4 current (until this year) @BirmCons @MyBCU students playing small roles, with great skill. Bravi!

Congratulations to all our brilliant students @BirmCons for the 1st night of Hansel and Gretel this evening. Really touching (and fun!) production by @sophie_gilpin, beautifully conducted by Anthony Kraus.
Three more shows this weekend: Birmingham people, see you there!
@MyBCU
An unexpected day - I found myself in front of the Philharmonia with seven minutes notice conducting the Sitz for ’Le nozze di Figaro’ at Garsington. Totally joyous day conducting my No. 1 piece with a world class orchestra and cast. My thirties are ending well!
