71 of 82 provincial governors come from political dynasties (PCIJ, 2025). The 1987 Constitution banned dynasties, but 39 years later there is still no enabling law. The House has passed an anti-dynasty bill, and it now sits in the Senate.
The law may not come in time, but your vote still counts.
