Yesterday morning, my mother, my anchor, and my best friend went to be with her Maker and her best friend, Jesus Christ. Through her life, and even now in her death, I have seen the faithfulness of God.
Her life motto was: “Seek Him first, and you will have nothing else to fear. Make His service your delight, and all your wants shall be His care!”
Thank You, God, for fulfilling this promise throughout her 85 years of life and for taking her home peacefully in her sleep.
Thank you, beloved people of God, our friends and relatives, for standing with us during this difficult time. I am humbled and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love you have shown our family since yesterday morning.
May God bless you all beyond human imagination, and may Mum’s soul rest in eternal peace!

Dark clouds are gathering over Uganda’s private sector, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). I foresee a rough ride ahead as businesses confront high borrowing costs, tightening bank credit, cash-flow pressures and rising operating costs. The economic turbulence could be severe. Banks must become partners in business survival, not merely debt collectors. Government must urgently prioritize affordable credit, liquidity and enterprise protection. SMEs are the backbone of employment and economic growth. When the private sector struggles, the entire economy feels the pain.

Last evening we liberated the traders of Mbarara central market where over 412 vendors / traders finally took over ownership of stalls and shops they’ve been renting from illegal exploiting land lords . Imagine renting out shops to our young people and women at a range of 150,00-300,000 and yet council is paid below 80,000 shillings !!! . This has ended Mbarara and Kabale our traders have been liberated this will continue through out the country through the expose the corrupt campaign as guided by Mr President @KagutaMuseveni and my leader General @mkainerugaba . Enough is enough markets where built for the emerging traders and vendors not politicians and their proxies.

It was a great pleasure meeting Senior @AKasingye and listening to his words of wisdom. It is one thing to join the Force, but quite another to retire successfully after attaining the highest rank. Such shouldn't be taken for granted, it is a blessing from God. Whenever there is an opportunity, take time to learn from such experiences and tap into their wisdom.
