The Supreme Court has formally endorsed a sentencing regime in which punishment depends on your race.
In the recent Cope case, the Supreme Court upheld a reduced sentence for an Indigenous offender who brutally assaulted his intimate partner.
The trial judge imposed five years. A sentencing circle, an Indigenous conflict-resolution practice, recommended three.
The Supreme Court said three was right, scolding the trial judge for not giving enough weight to āIndigenous legal traditions.ā
There is no such thing as āIndigenous law.ā And Indigenous traditions should not override Canadian law as written by Parliament.
The result?
An offender receives a discount, not because of the facts of his crime, but because of his background.
This is not justice. It is racial accounting dressed up as reconciliation.
Make no mistake: equality before the law, a foundational principle of Western civilization, no longer applies in Canada.
The Supreme Court has replaced it with a system in which justice is administered according to group membership, ancestry, and historical grievance.
And it does not stop with Indigenous offenders.Ā
The same logic is being extended through Impact of Race and Culture Assessments to other groups.
The principle is always the same: some Canadians are treated as members of groups with historical grievances, while others are treated as individuals responsible for their actions.
The Peopleās Party believes in ONE STANDARD OF JUSTICE FOR EVERY CANADIAN. You do the crime, you do the time. Full stop.
We are the only federal party willing to say what the Liberals and fake Conservatives will not: Canadaās courts must treat every victim and every offender equally before the law.

So, when do the apologies start flooding into @MaximeBernier's inbox? He warned about all this stuff years ago and got shamed into oblivion.
Replying to @MichelleRempel
@MichelleRempel going off on mass immigration for about 20 minutes is just what I needed today.

Following this referendum in Alberta, the ball is now in the court of establishment politicians, both Liberal and fake Conservative.
What will their response be?
There is only one response capable of dispelling the frustration of Albertans: adopting the Peopleās Party platform.

Promouvons notre propre culture.
It's striking that London where I've been for the last few days feels like India. It's overrun by low skilled Indians which leads me to believe the West is helping to solve India's massive youth unemployment problem.
At my hotel, everyone on staff were newly arrived from India. Their English was often poor and the service wasn't great. The staff were shouting back and forth to each other in Hindi like you would in a chawl in India. A chawl is low cost housing and densely populated.
All of this is coming to Canada. Canāt wait. š¤”

23,160 deportations. Thatās not enough!
The numbers are in, and they confirm what we have been saying for years: Canada needs to enforce its own laws and start mass deportation.
Last year, Canada deported only 23,160 illegals. That is roughly 53 deportations per 100,000 people.Ā
One of the lowest rates among comparable nations. In the United States itās 130 deportations per 100k. Thatās 2.4x Canada's rate.
As of last May, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) was working on the deportation of 65,004 identified individuals. In more than 10,000 of these cases, the file has been ongoing for over a year.
And CBSA is trying to find 33,588 foreign nationals who failed to appear for removal and have simply disappeared.
Meanwhile, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada estimates that up to 500,000 undocumented migrants are living illegally in Canada; in the shadows, with no authorization to reside or work here.
The real number is likely higher. Federal officials have admitted that Canada has no system to track whether temporary residents actually leave when their visas expire.
I have said it plainly:
Ā "We must have a moratorium on mass immigration and start the mass deportation of all illegals who are in our country.āĀ
That is why we need a deportation department to find, detain, and remove those who have no legal right to be here.
This is not about being cruel. Itās about being a sovereign country that enforces its own laws.
But the Liberals and the fake Conservatives won't do anything. They are beholden to the same globalist consensus that treats borders as optional and enforcement as taboo.

Here we go again. Pierre Poilievre is suddenly outraged by mass immigration.
The same Conservatives who spent hundreds of thousands branding critics of mass immigration as āracistsā while Pierre pushed for more direct flights to India.
Then he helped prop up Carneyās government and hand the Liberals a majority.
Pierre, youāre not the opposition to this mess. You helped create it!
How much longer are Canadians supposed to fall for this Uniparty theatre?
Even more immigration?
