➡️ On 29/06, ED board member Ximena Montano, Exec. Dir. @MarziaZambon & Policy Officer Martina Fontana attended the @PREFERABLE_MBC Project symposium. The final results show that supervised exercise programs significantly improve QoL for MBC patients.

The PREFERABLE II Consortium was well represented during the #ISEO pre-conference at #ACSM24. @annemariamay presented the PREFERABLE studies as example of successful multinational exercise oncology RCTs, showing that teamwork makes the dream work.

During our 4th consortium meeting in Stockholm, we discussed the progression of our clinical trial (LION-RCT), survey and focus groups (LION-COM and ELSI) at each site. We are happy to announce that the first center (UMCU) has started inclusions for the clinical trial! #HorizonEU

An 8-week telehealth exercise intervention is feasible and safe for patients with advanced melanoma and appears to improve physical function while preserving QoL during checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
