My #LinkedIn #tip4day: today just a simple reminder that posting more than once/day murders your views. The algorithms split the total views between posts in past 18 hrs. You were going to get 500 views: now you get 250/250. Be judicious.

My #LinkedIn #tip4day: one of the joys of reading profiles all day is finding a great Recommendation. If the giver is amenable to it, a great Recommendation can be leveled up with a signature STAR story. And writers, offer this to the asker.

My #LinkedIn #tip4day: people have extremely limited time. Many of us work full-time (never just 40 hrs/wk) & all of us have standing personal commitments, some quite significant. If you ask for X, be sure X isn't unreasonable.

My #LinkedIn #tip4day: the platform exists because the founder wanted a tool to facilitate #networking. It's not a replacement, it's a tool, and like any powerful tool, takes investment to learn well. But the rewards are worth it.
