【開催報告】10月8～9日に北海道部会を開催しました。8日は「北海道の植物病害研究－課題と成果－」というテーマで談話会を開催しました。9日の一般講演では、病原、防除、植物免疫、検出法など、様々な発表があり、活発な議論が交わされました。道外からの参加もあり盛会に終えることができました。

【開催報告】日本植物病理学会・令和8年度（第60回）植物感染生理談話会が9/2～4に東京大学農学部で開催されました。第60回という節目の会に、全国から113名が参加し、活発な議論が交わされました。

ポスター発表の様子です。前日のショートプレゼンテーションに続き、弥生講堂にて熱心な議論が繰り広げられました。学生優秀発表賞は、椎名昭斗さん（東大院総合）と山崎真也さん（農工大連農）が受賞されました。おめでとうございます！

情報交換会の様子です。農学部生協食堂にて開催され、89名が参加しました。アットホームな雰囲気の中、所属や世代を超えた交流が深まりました。次回（第61回）は近畿大学にて開催予定です。

【開催報告】9/10-11に関西部会が県立広島大学で開催されました。153名が参加し、68題の発表が行われました。東條部会長（大阪公立大）による講演や一般講演では活発な質疑応答が行われ、盛会となりました。来年の関西部会は岐阜大学で開催予定です。

【開催報告】9/10-11に東北部会が盛岡市で開催されました。部会長の田中和明氏（弘前大）の開会挨拶では、農研機構の須崎浩一氏ほか開催事務局の皆様への御礼と、様々な病原体についての発表があり基礎から応用までを知る機会となる東北部会の面白さについてお話がありました。

【続き】今年度の地域貢献賞は、岩手県に長年お勤めになった勝部和則氏が受賞されました。岩手県における園芸・水稲病害の生態解明と環境負荷低減型防除技術の確立に対する授賞です（写真右が勝部氏；左は田中部会長）。

【続き】1日目夜の情報交換会では東北農研所長の若生忠幸氏が歓迎の挨拶をくださいました（写真）。また、2日目午後の若手の会では、秋田県立大学に4月から助教として着任された大坪雅氏による招待講演のあと、各大学の学生による研究紹介が行われました。来年の東北部会は仙台市で開催予定です。
