Our thanks to @LurganCeltic for joining us in a minutes silence before yesterday's game, in memory of our ex manager, Eric (Doc) Halliday.
With deep sorrow we learn of the passing of two friends.
Our ex manager (who led us to Steel & Sons glory in the 1980's) Eric (Doc) Halliday and Dr. Damian Della Croce, an ex player, who passed away while awaiting a transplant.
To both families we offer our sincere condolences.

Northern Ireland football has lost a true gentleman... hugely successful Eric ‘Doc’ Halliday was always willing to give those in the junior game a chance

Former-Bangor manager Eric Halliday has sadly passed away.
After managing the Seasiders between 1981 and 1982, Eric would go on become one of the most successful and well known managers in Intermediate football.
Eric returned to Clandeboye Park as Bangor manager in 2003, guiding the Seasiders to successes in the North Down Cup, Daily Mirror Trophy and the Steel and Sons Cup.
We extend our sympathies to the Halliday family, including Eric’s grandson Lewis who played for our U18 side last night.
A minute silence will be held before kick off tonight in memory of Eric.

Well, we tried, got so far, but it just wasn't to be in the @PSUKMenFootball open age final. We went down 5-6 in extra time (not penalties!!) to a very good PSNI team. Was an amazing experience for the lads and we are proud of our achievement. Thanks to @Eventsecmgmt as always
Yesterday the PSNI successfully defended their British Police (PSUK)
title when they defeated @gmpolice 6 - 5 (aet) at South Shield FC in what has been described as one of the best ever finals.
