Pre-WFH: spend 90 minutes on shower, hair, makeup, commute. WFH: sleep an extra 30, and spend 60mins on Quiet Coffee Hour on my porch. I haven't had a resurgence of my lifelong battle with depression since WFM started. But yeah I'm probably miserable.

My strongest “vibes not evidence” belief is that remote work is a cancer that’s making (most) people miserable even though it seems better in the short term.

I'm never going to be worried about anyone faking a disability to get on benefits and it's not even because that barely even happens (which is true, basically no one does this). It's bc disability benefits, esp SSI, is far less than I think any human deserves, period.
