One of the most exciting days to be a member of this great team at a great place. Why are people with brain injuries misunderstood? What can we do as a team? How can we do things better? This play and workshop seems like a great start. Congratulations @PackingShedCo

3 things to make us smile
1. Essex Book Festival events throughout June
2. Neil squeezing between a sheet of glass and a bookshelf to prepare a display. Harder than it looks!
3. Open air theatre in Castle Park, all Summer. Produced by Neil

Thanks @CastleParkThea1 for a delightful open-air evening at ‘The Boadicea of Britannia Street’, directed by my equally lovely pal @EMullane97 💛
Make sure you visit the freshest venue in Essex this summer!
In years to come you’ll want to say ‘I was there at the start’ 🏰🎭

Nothing says summer like open air theatre presented in a unique venue. Possibly accompanied by a cold beverage. Anyway, something for everyone in a varied #Roman themed programme brought to you by @PackingShedCo and #Colchester Events
🎭🌳👏 #ColchesterRomanHoliday
The Romans are coming to Castle Park!
Enjoy open-air theatre at Lower Bowls Green; Ben-Hur, The Boadicea of Britannia Street, King Coel's Curtains & Julius Caesar. Bring blankets, picnics and check out the new bar!

On this first #BringBackChainmail tour, co-produced with @PackingShedCo, we're especially looking for dates from Autumn 2022 in studios & intimate theatres across East Anglia.
Sound like you? Fancy a heartfelt & funny interactive family show (with relaxed performance options)???

This NYE we’re grateful for our progress in a hard year for theatre.
2021 saw our #BringBackChainmail R&D, with our first backing from @ace_national.
We’ll have fun Chainmail news in 2022, but for now please enjoy some BTS snaps from April 📸
Thank you all for your support x

I suspect 1984 will becoming a sprawling franchise, like Star Wars - but this four-part audio prequel is very well done, and (leaving aside a subplot that MIGHT be construed as a dig at Brexit) mercifully free of subtle-as-a-brick nods to the present. Looking forward to series 2.
Before the forthcoming 'Julia', re-imagining 'Nineteen Eighty-Four', there was '1954', taking its inspiration from the line in the original book where Winston Smith recalls “perhaps it was the time when the atomic bomb had fallen on Colchester.”
