Medova Healthcare Financial Group collected premiums but didn't pay customers' valid health care claims. It diverted the money elsewhere, including for personal use.
Because of Medova’s failure to pay the claims, customers received demands for payments from health care providers, causing financial strain on victims who did not have the funds. Some customers had accounts that went into collections.
Due to the excellent work of @USAO_Kansas, $23M has been secured for victims--and payments went out Oct. 23.

🚨BREAKING: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has nominated Lt. Gen. Kevin Admiral, a Black three-star general, to lead U.S. Army Europe and Africa and serve as commander of NATO’s Allied Land Command.
Admiral currently commands III Armored Corps at Fort Hood, Texas. He is a career armored officer with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Europe, and holds awards including the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
The nomination was announced by the Pentagon and requires Senate confirmation. The role oversees U.S. Army forces across Europe and Africa.

This week, thousands of students encountered the salvation message of Jesus Christ once again, thanks to the ministry of the UniteUS movement. This time, nearly 600 young people pledged their lives to Christ on Tuesday night at the group's latest revival event.
The Unite US ministry tells CBN News that 52 people were also baptized outside immediately afterward.

Well, today I went to the polls and voted for every Republican on the Texas ballot. Yes, Ken Paxton too!
And yes, I voted for some names I didn’t recognize, because what I DO recognize is that you guys can’t be trusted.
I believe if Democrats take back Congress, you’re going to go after my president, Donald Trump, and try to impeach him.
Just because I’m Black doesn’t mean I owe Democrats my vote.

BREAKING: Alaska's governor is ordering an investigation into Democrat Mary Peltola's Senate campaign over an alleged scheme to confuse voters by recruiting a Senate candidate with the same name as Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan.
The governor cited new reporting suggesting an organized effort to misdirect votes and directed state authorities to determine whether any laws were broken or charges are warranted.
Peltola's campaign has denied involvement in recruiting the candidate.
