>Be jew >Ottomans kick u out for some shit >Go to India to help British colonize it >Indians are forced to grow opium instead of food >Use that opium to get china addicted >Get rich on backs of millions of destroyed Indian and Chinese lives >Goyim now think u were a "businessman"
194 years ago, a Jewish trader from Baghdad, came to India almost as a refugee after persecution by the Ottoman empire. He eventually had 14 children and used them to build his global Empire. David Sassoon soon became the king of Opium trade with official backing of the British empire. His family controlled more than 60% of the opium that drug addicted youth of China took at that time. He became the Merchant Prince of Bombay! Ironically, his competitors were also refugees from West Asia in India. The Parsis. This refugee from Iraq, and the other refugees from Iran, built the biggest drug trade of mid 19th century, from Bombay, under total protection of the British Queen. Later his family spread into other businesses like cotton. Here is a list of Mumbai's landmarks built, funded, or established by David Sassoon and his family: • David Sassoon Library & Reading Room (Kala Ghoda, Fort) • Magen David Synagogue (Byculla) • Jacob Sassoon High School (Byculla) • E.E.E. Sassoon High School (Byculla) • David Sassoon Hospital (J.J. Hospital Premises, Byculla) • Masina Hospital (Byculla) • Knesset Eliyahoo Synagogue (Colaba) • Sassoon Dock (Colaba) — Mumbai's first commercial wet dock • The Bank of India Head Office (Fort) — contributed/built • The David Sassoon Reformatory and Deaf School (Matunga) • Multiple textile mills and residential mansions (such as Sans Souci on Malabar Hill and properties around Dadar / Indu Mills) Moral questions of Opium trade aside, just see the vast contribution to Bombay / Mumbai by a refugee family! Riddle me this Batman: If a democracy has a "broad elite veto", is it even a democracy anymore?
That the bottom 50% (or 90%) are much better off in China than in India doesn't mean its more democratic. As Michael Albertus showed, autocracies are better at redistribution bcoz democracies have broad elite veto (autocracies can over-ride it). See land reforms in China vs India

Big stars in Bollywood famously don't have any agency.
That niqqa Yash Chopra took a generational actor away from us and literally made him a one-genre actor

Islamabad is urging Beijing to establish a dialogue with the opposition Afghanistan Freedom Front. Intelligence Online can confirm that while the Guoanbu has agreed to this, it has not yet opened an official channel with the armed anti-Taliban group. ➡️ l.intelligenceonline.fr/cUQ

You're a venture capitalist associated with PeakXV Partners (a venture capitalist firm). Could you mind sharing how much equity you hold in Eternal/Temple? You know, just so we know that there's no conflict of interest. 🤷

It's amazing that no one has been arrested for setting up a contract killing on camera.
‼️Turning Point UK CEO Caught On Camera Brokering Paid Attacks And Killings Through A UVF-Linked Hitman😱 An Al Jazeera undercover investigation has exposed Turning Point UK CEO Jack Ross introducing reporters to Allan Nesbitt, a convicted criminal with alleged ties to the Ulster Volunteer Force, a proscribed paramilitary group. Ross is filmed discussing a menu of paid violence, from beatings and face-cutting to stabbings, shootings, and killings, while also paying Nesbitt thousands to stage a fake pro-Zimbabwe rally. In public, Ross condemns political violence. In private, he appears comfortable arranging it through a man who showed weapons on a call and claimed past experience with such work. The Conservative Party has suspended Ross’s membership, and Scottish police are reviewing the footage for possible criminality. Turning Point UK is the British offshoot of Turning Point USA, the organization founded by Charlie Kirk. The investigation shows how casually its leadership treated the idea of hiring paramilitary-linked contacts for violence against rivals. This comes as questions continue about Turning Point USA’s own conduct, its finances, and the circumstances surrounding Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Erika Kirk and the American organization have not yet addressed the UK findings publicly. How will Turning Point USA try to separate itself from this? Will they claim the UK group is fully independent, or will they stay silent while police examine whether their overseas CEO was negotiating contract violence? The public statements against violence do not match the private recordings. Shoutout to @Its_KK_1 for sending me this story. FOLLOW her.

Forget the celebrities here, the wife of the richest person in Asia opening a bougie bookstore brazenly called The Library with a zero effort marketing campaign is quite ominous.
Sonali Bendre introduces you to the rules of The Library at NMACC. And they’re not quite what you’d expect! The most important rule of all? Never judge a book by its cover.

This stupid motherfucker thinks Bolsanaristas and MAGA aren't fascist
Anyone who thinks liberal victories in Brazil & USA will translate to India is mistaken. There is a basic difference between ordinary right-wing politics & Fascism. India is dealing with Fascism, not just political Right. I am NOT advocating violence. But historically we 1/2

Complete and uncritical solidarity with Bangladesh's rebellious garment workers. These sweatshops are paradigmatic hellholes; for a brilliant account of the exploitative underbelly of the garment industry across the border in India, read Alessandra Mezzadri's work.
Protests by garment workers in Bangladesh have shut down over 500 factories, demanding that their salaries be doubled. Many global fashion brands have sourced their clothes from there, and have long benefited from cheap labour and weak labour protections.

A pay to win and lootboxes model, but for schooling
Replying to @Shayrad_Azavan
Why do they even need a physical infrastructure, keep everything online. Individual schools should have their own apps and upload stuff there and grading should be payment based. If you don't have money, you don't pass

What we really need is maximum voting age limit. Throw anyone above 65 out of poll booth. Jis age me aap "digital arrest" aur "Neem Karoli" baba ke scam me fans sakte ho, us age me aap vote dene layak nahi ho.
Imho, reducing the minimum voting age from 21 to 18 was a mistake.
