This morning Mt. Lebanon Career Fire Officers practiced elevator rescue techniques using the new @Paratech_Inc struts. These are put in place to hold a stalled elevator car to rescue trapped occupants. With over 300 elevators in the Municipality these calls are quite frequent.

Training this tour is focused around our rescue tender. It’s call sign is H71R1 and it houses predominantly heavy rescue equipment. First drill this morning is our rescue airbags, these can lift vehicles in a controlled manor to give us access. @Paratech_Inc
