Parents of children with SEND gathered today for a 'Day of Action', including a rally in Parliament Square.
Katie, who has autism & struggled to attend school, told @bbcnuala she thinks the government needs to listen to young people ⬇️
Parentsactive received funding from Earls Court Community Fund @earlscourtdevco! CEO Nandini Ganesh & Parent Carer Advocate Nighat accepted the award on Sep 10. The grant will expand our work, reach more parents, & empower them as advocates for their kids’ rights & needs.
At Parliament Square today for the #FightForOrdinary SEND rally. Too many children are suffering from poor support, bad environments & zero accountability. We need a system that listens to those affected.
