I appreciate our first responders who pass out treats, auxiliary police who make sure pedestrians cross streets safely, businesses that participate, Polish Village volunteers who decorate and, of course, Ward 2 Councilwoman Debbie Lime who coordinates the annual Treat and Greet.
I had the opportunity to visit with residents and see many fun and creative costumes at the Treat and Greet headquarters in Polish Village. #treatandgreet #halloween
Every October, I enjoy attending Polish Village’s Treat and Greet. The weather was perfect for the children and adults who donned costumes seeking treats from the participating local businesses, as well as our police in the pocket park. Even Rosco wore a costume. #treatandgreet

Recently, former Mayor Dean DePiero, City Council and I rededicated the Military Wall of Honor in Parma City Hall’s lobby. Updated lighting, flags and a new flatscreen were installed. The flatscreen will be able to display a static image, photo slides or a video presentation.
25 years ago today, our nation changed forever on 9|11. We remember the lives lost, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice and the grieving families and coworkers. Join us today, 7 p.m., at the I-Beam Memorial, The Shoppes at Parma, to reflect, honor and remember.
For drivers who routinely travel West Ridgewood Drive, the wait is over. The bridge is open. This morning, I joined @CuyahogaCounty leaders and project partners for a ribbon cutting of the rebuilt bridge. Federal, state and county funding made the $2.6 million project possible.
