This isn't out of the blue (for me at least). I've been thinking about this heavily since September. Maybe I'll post a commentary on my 2nd channel

Hi everyone! Planet and I are incredibly sorry, but YouTube is still refusing to monetize The Cusp. These videos cost a lot to make, and funding them out of pocket is unsustainable. We are going to end it here, and we really appreciate everybody who watched the first episode.

We believe that something needs to be said about how YouTube manages/interacts with its creators. In recent times, we've talked to countless other creators who have been demonetized for unfair reasons and have been forced to take a similar course of action.

We hope you understand where this is coming from. But, thank you all. We had a blast making this, and we learned so much about the creative process. We loved looking at people's comments, art, etc., and we can't thank you enough for your support. Sincerely, Parrot and Planet

Hi @TeamYouTube I greatly apologize for my unhinged messages. I respect the decisions that you make surrounding monetization. However, I firmly believe that the denial of monetization and the appeal of my video was unjust. Can I get in contact with someone to sort this out?😊

sometimes we have to make tough decisions, which means channels that don't meet our monetization policies can't be approved for YPP. you can apply following the date indicated in your Studio, as long as your channel meets the requirements. thx for understanding

Hi @TeamYouTube You recently denied monetization on me and @planetlord_ 's channel for "reused content" and then denied our appeal. If someone with eyeballs looked at the channel, I think they'd be able to tell that it's original. Here: youtube.com/@The-Cusp

We're reinvesting every penny back into this channel, and we can't fund future episodes without monetization. It would really mean a lot if someone could take a look and lift this. Thanks!
