I guess phantom touch is like ASMR where some people "feel it" and others don't.
Oddly enough I can feel it, but its kinda like lucid dreaming where Its only felt when I'm completely immersed and focused.
Tho I do think some people ham it up to an absurd degree.
So the Safeway I like to shop at has a camera that tracks your movements in self checkout.
What should have been a 2 minute process turned into a nearly 10 minute wait as the poor employee had to come over to me every 5 seconds because the camera "detected" something weird.
I know cameras exist in any store you go to but the ones at self checkout were extremely invasive, inaccurate and I will probably not shop there anymore.
If you can't employ a person to shadow the self checkout and fix issues I can only assume corners are being cut elsewhere.
