Seems like real problem here is Dan needs better security at home, whether that be a gated property, private security, or better cooperation between local police and the NFL.
The intersection of 7th and Maine SW is so incredibly dangerous for pedestrians. Drivers blowing red lights by five or six vehicles and forcing themselves through crosswalks with pedestrians in them. Needs enforcement immediately.
What a crushing tragedy from the hockey world. An equally awful headline from the AP. Cyclists, aka fellow human beings, deserve better. "They're dead after their bicycles were hit by a car."

There are 1m people on the 1200 block of Half St SE enjoying a beautiful DC evening and yet DDOT insists on letting drivers access this 100 yards of pavement, putting these revelers at risk. Absolutely outrageous.
Don't think any DC Democrat spoke at the Dem Convention, correct me if I'm wrong. Probably more of a reflection on the importance of statehood for the District than the character of our politicians, but I could be wrong.
