I've been silent all day on this because I needed the space to find the words about Stosh Cienki.
What a wonderful human being. He had the most infectious laugh. I remarked to a colleague today, "I'm sad I'll never get to hear him laugh again." Stosh had such a passion for what he did. He encouraged all of us to be ourselves. Whenever I would be ranting and rambling in a break and we were laughing over it, he brought it right to air for us. He made us love our jobs the way he did. He was one of one in the industry.
Stosh was the first person at ESPN to ever reach out to me to guest on a show with @ColemanESPN. I was so excited that he thought of me. When I started at ESPN, he made me feel like I was there for years. He made me better every time we worked together. Whenever it was me & @Ianfitzespn, the three of us were out of control and could not stop laughing together. He let us go off the rails in the best way possible! I never left a show with Stosh without smiling and feeling like that was some of the best work we've done.
Whenever I made a mistake, he always gave me a hard time about it in a way that made me feel like I was learning, not being chastised. He brought the best out in me and I'm forever grateful.
I'm forever going to miss him. I'm always going to be able to hear his voice in my ear. And I'll never forget his laugh that was joy for the soul! @ESPNRadio won't be the same without you. I'm gutted and heartbroken for his wife, Kelly Ann, and their children. Much love always, Stosh. Rest in peace, my friend. 💔🕊️🙏🏽

wizards crowd got up for that comeback and finish and that was cool. will be more interested in evaluating this team once ament is taking a chunk of kuz’s minutes
they better feed burries after these FTs. chance for back to back to back threes from him to end the quarter
maybe it’s just a wizards thing with their size, and i know they’re not getting outrebounded overall in the game, but it doesn’t feel like the bucks are going to rebound well in crowds

-if you doubted khris middleton
-if you said khris middleton is overrated
-if you tried repeatedly to trade khris middleton away

A sad day in Bristol. Stosh was an incredible guy who loved radio and what made it special. I’ll never forget how helpful he was when passing the baton to me on weekends. Like many at ESPN Radio, I would’ve been lost without his insight. Thinking of his family and many friends.

STOSH!!!!! Oh no. That’s horrible news. Stosh was definitely one of the good guys. Always had a great attitude, a smile, and just an all around great dude. Even after I left ESPN, Stosh was still a friendly voice and face around CT. Prayers to his family and all who loved him 🥺😢

Stosh was the first producer many of us in Bristol shadowed when we first started. That was by design. He taught us to be prepared, be passionate about the medium, but most importantly, how to bring a silly idea to the air. Stosh’s larger than life persona will be missed greatly.
