Truly making a difference as a pathologist: reporting a positive ALK stain in lung adenocarcinoma: Why? Chances are that you have directly impacted choice of targeted therapy. Images: ALK (D5F3)... kikoxp.com/posts/22222

Very well stated - pathology is your friend!
I have reviewed several multi-omics manuscripts with extensive genetic and functional characterization of human tumors and cell lines, submitted to decent and high quality journals. In almost all of them, basic pathology parameters are missing. Why? (A mini-thread:)

Excited to finally share my first (first author) paper in @ModernPathology showing tumor cellularity as a prognostic feature in lung cancer. Shout out to my amazing mentors @Path_Matt and @SansanoValero who introduced me to the endless possibilities using computational methods!
Check out our recently published paper in @ModernPathology led by the awesome @PathShermanoma with @SansanoValero Below is a (long) tweetorial on the backstory and the findings of the paper Open Access available at: sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

Check out this cool study idea from the great @Path_Matt!
Hey #PathTwitter let's do a study to give ChatGPT a pathology exam to see if it would pass?

International #LiverPath, if you report cholangiocarcinoma, do you want to inform consensus histopath guidelines? @CholangioNet @CcaEns colleagues and I would value your opinions via a short survey. Message me on Twitter if interested & please share.

The power of social media is truly amazing! We have assembled a global group of pathologists to generate an international consensus of 1000 mitotic figures. Send me a message if you want to participate! Thanks to the awesome work of @PathShermanoma for leading this project.
So amazing!!! we already have almost 70 staff pathologists signed on to the project! There is still room to join what will hopefully be the largest consensus driven classification of mitotic figures. Send me a message if you want to join. Let’s see if we can get to 100!

Hey #PathTwitter, want to do a study? The discussion around mitoses got me thinking that we need an open source database of mitotic figures that has ground truth based on an international consensus. Let's call it the 1000 mitoses project
