🚨Russia’s Tupolev produces the TU-160 in part from aluminium supplied by ASK aluminium - the company which imports alumina from Aughinish in Ireland
They appear to have suffered challenges early on in the war with supply but are now overcoming them. We wonder, is this owing to increased supply of alumina to Russia from Aughinish.

The Tu-160 is produced at the "KAZAN AVIATION PLANT" which sourced its aluminum from ASK who bought it from RUSAL smelters that Aughinish Alumina supply to.

There is a new diplomatic push for peace in Ukraine, but Putin's actions tell a different story.
In recent days, Russia has again launched heavy attacks on Kyiv and sunk civilian ships in the Black Sea.
There is little hope for imminent peace in Ukraine. Our task is to help Ukraine withstand the attacks and increase the costs for Russia.

Energiya sourced its aluminium from ASK, which is the smelter Aughinish Alumina supplies with alumina
It seems the Ukrainians are not waiting for Europe to take the moral decision.

One of Energia’s production buildings in Yelets is now assessed as unable to operate. A major fire left heavy smoke and extensive damage to the facade and interior on every floor. The damage reaches through the whole building from the point of impact.
The plant was hit in the missile strike on Yelets reported earlier. Energia makes batteries and power units for Russia’s military-industrial sector, including equipment used in missile systems and aircraft.

Unfortunately, people still remain in the city, mostly living in basements. Food and water have long been gone.
