The time has come. Too many organisations fixed to github infrastructure, github actions. Blocking releases to production. Even when you run your own github runners still the github actions fail. I seriously recommend organisations, tech leaders and influences to take a look at dagger. Its absolutely game changing. Unblock your agents and remove dependency on 3rd party infrastructure and ci costs!
Announcing Dagger 1.0 beta. Replace Jenkins and GitHub Actions with CI that matches the speed and scale of coding agents without wasting compute or tokens. Featuring: test-native CI, dev shells, local and remote execution, official modules, and more. dagger.io/blog/dagger-10-bet…

This is why I love the EU. Cutting edge innovation and thinking outside the box. Whilst the rest of the world is wasting their time on space travel, artificial intelligence and smart materials we in the EU are working on what really improves lives: Compliance, Rules and regulations. Can’t wait to bring my Tupperware to McDonalds in 2027!

When I want to deep dive into what's happening in CI, I reach for @dagger_io (which is what I use in CI to deploy all the Workers, IaC things, and build 10+ docker images). Dagger provides traces so I can see where the time is being spent (and optimize CI times)

Managed to finally make use of my NPU. Would not have bothered with all the faff myself but with Claude Code, I now have OpenVINO running distil whisper large on my i9 NPU and it draws only ~16j compared to CPU at ~161j. It costs a 10th of the CPU to run!
