Apple's iPhone 18 Pro is a very solid smartphone, but it's just not that much of an upgrade over the iPhone 17 Pro unless you're really into photography. I'm still a big fan of the overall design, though. My @xdadevelopers review is live. xda-developers.com/iphone-18…
Another @LinusTech @ShrtCrctYT banger from @TheBradFad. It’s always cool to see @mobilesyrup alumni doing awesome things. youtu.be/HT-d6GgUwjg?si=Crxx…
This isn’t going to happen but I’d love to see it. BioWare shutting down is a huge blow to video game’s developed in Canada. ign.com/articles/canadian-po…
The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is a pretty perfect wearable if you’re an iPhone user that wants a rugged design and solid battery life. It’s just not that much of an upgrade over the Apple Watch Ultra 3 or even the Ultra 2 for that matter. Here’s my review. xda-developers.com/apple-wat…
One thing with the iPhone Duo I haven’t seen many people talk about is a lot of third-party screen protectors make it impossible to put Apple’s official cases on the foldable. I’m using dbrand’s Prism screen protector, and it doesn’t let the front Duo cover sit flush.
I was going a bit crazy not having a simple Search option with the iPhone Duo, but then I found this setting 🙏.
After a few hours with the iPhone Duo, my initial reaction is pretty mixed. The folding screen looks great (I can barely see the crease), but the third-party app situation is a mess (so few apps feature a UI that's actually adapted).
🤖 Made with AI
The front screen also feels a bit too wide to use comfortably when folded, and I haven't found a real use for opening two apps side by side when it's unfolded. Oh, and I hate being forced to use Touch ID again.
There's now a Zelda: Breath of the Wild native PC port that seems to run pretty well as long as you have powerful enough hardware. xda-developers.com/zelda-bre…
I am genuinely surprised that MapQuest's Android Auto app isn't a complete disaster. xda-developers.com/i-tried-m…
Well, it happened — the Switch 2 has been jailbroken. I predict a firmware update will drop by Monday that patches this exploit. xda-developers.com/nintendo-…
I genuinely expected this Zelda: Link's Awakening PC recompilation to be a bit of a disaster since it's made almost entirely with AI. To be clear, it doesn't run as well as the game does on the Switch 2, but it's very playable. xda-developers.com/i-tried-u…
This is so cool.
AI might be slowly ruining everything, but someone made a Halo: CE Dreamcast port, so all is right in the world. retrododo.com/halo-combat-ev…
Okay, the AI-made Zelda: Link’s Awakening static recompilation PC port is pretty underwhelming compared to playing the game on an actual Switch 2. I forgot how well it irons out all of the performance issues.
This is the first Gemini Android Auto update that actually makes sense. It probably should have been available since Personal Intelligence's launch. xda-developers.com/gemini-mo… -
