Closest Leeds have come! Justin cuts in from the left, has space to shoot from 20 yards and is not far away. Ball takes a nick on the way through for a corner. #lufc
HT: #LUFC 0-1 Brentford. Schade’s brilliant finish just reward for the Bees who have been dominant. Rodon injured & not a shot on target. Struggling to impose in the final third where Bees have been untroubled bar a few raids from Okafor.

DF: "We had to wait a long time for a win here and to do it twice in four days is remarkable. Level tonight was fantastic. Tighter on Saturday. Dominated many periods tonight. Only concern was, at HT, not rewarding ourselves." #lufc

DF: "I trust him (Stach) with everything. He has even released a burger. You never expect him to do this. He's a bit of a weird, crazy guy." #lufc

DF: "Hopefully getting there because to establish in this league, we need to add individual quality. Hopefully it's a better squad than it was two or three years ago. Important to show spirit and grind out a result. Not just waiting for a moment to win it on a set piece." #lufc

DF: "Nottingham was putting pressure on us (at the time of Okafor's arrival). We wanted to win the momentum back. Wanted to send a message we go for the win. All credit to the players and Noah, not my decision." #lufc

DF: "When a GK has a clean sheet at this level, it is world-class. He did not need 10 unbelievable saves, but had presence for us. Natural aura of confidence." #lufc

DF: "Transition moments and set pieces were dangerous. Won this because we defended very well. Moment of brilliance from Anton Stach. Very tight game. Could have gone other direction, but happy and delighted to convert nearly flawless pre-season." #lufc

DF: "Very happy. Could not start better. Very difficult away ground. Competitive game. Clean sheet. Several new signings on the pitch. Tight game. Different periods, started on the front foot and then Nottingham did." #lufc

This was heading for the bottom of the @BBCMOTD running order. Leeds were solid and resilient on the road for what would have been a good point.
Anton Stach and free kicks exist, however. #lufc nytimes.com/athletic/7529131…

HT Forest 0-0 Leeds
Leeds strong in the duel + had the territory in first 25 mins but the highlights since came at Trafford's end with a save and one off the post
No real clear chances for Leeds aside from the offside goal. Pressing has been decent #lufc

Half-time: 0-0. Not much entertainment. Excellent debut save from Trafford, however. Competitive for an away day for Leeds at least. #lufc

TBC but #LUFC getting the Adidas trefoil on the away kit means we’ve likely been elevated to the sports manufacturer’s ‘elite-tier’ list of football teams.
Currently on that list: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Man Utd, Newcastle, Celtic, Roma, Real Madrid, Bayern, Juventus

The shovels are in the ground at the home of #LUFC, as the first signs of the transformation of Elland Road are appearing.
The initial construction stage of the project will expand the John Charles West Stand from the existing capacity of 8,000 to 17,552.
The new West Stand will be around a third larger than the East Stand.
It is hoped work on the West Stand will be completed by the end of 2028, raising the total capacity of Elland Road to around 47,000.
The Don Revie North Stand will be the next stand to be redeveloped, with work hoping to begin (shortly after the completion of the West Stand redevelopment) at the start of 2029, and to be completed before the end of 2030.
The North Stand's current capacity of 10,414 will be expanded to 15,300.
By 2030, if all goes to plan, Elland Road should have a capacity of 53,000 which would make it the 7th largest football ground in England.

Leeds way off our best and end the season with a 3-0 defeat.
However, a first season back that has yielded 47pts, a 14th placed finish and an FA Cup semi is probably way beyond what most dared dream.
Challenge now to build, get better and go again.
For now, bloody well done #LUFC
