Zaccharie Risacher has 5 blocks and 7 steals through the three games. Only 8 other Mavericks have matched or exceeded those numbers over a three game span the last twenty years. (@Stathead & @bball_ref)
This is a good list of guys...

After three games, Mavs are +3.80 when Zaccharie Risacher is on the court, -20.53 when he’s off the court.
5.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.7 blocks per game.
Their best defender and offense gets better each game. Mavs should insert him back in the lineup.

So basically the Anthony Davis trade resulted in
Santi Aldama
Sergio De Larrea
Marcus Sasser

The 2026 draft class is loaded, but it’s gonna look REALLY bad for the teams that let De Larrea fall that far. The Mavs just landed a HUGE talent.

Mavericks guard Sergio De Larrea on the chemistry he is building with fellow rookie Morez Johnson Jr.:
“It’s a pleasure to play with him. He’s a guy who lives 100% every day in the court and he’s brining energy…He’s doing all the dirty work…It’s amazing to play with him…”

We had Sergio De Larrea 17th on our board and we may have not been high enough!
You can't teach size, feel, passing and 3-point shooting for a point guard. He's everything you want next to Cooper Flagg.

Mavericks coach Dusty May on Sergio De Larrea’s performance (21 points, five rebounds, four assists):
“I thought it was great…His defense is improving, I thought his on-ball defense got better. He was chasing down long rebounds…Overall just a really really good game by a young player against one of the best defensive backcourts…”

Ron’s Review: The Dallas Mavericks might have found their next star player in Sergio de Larrea.
Game and mini vlog No. 3 is in this books.

Mavs guard Sergio De Larrea on his 21-point performance:
“A lot of things to improve. Just rotations on defense, be prepared…I’m working every day for this moment and today I think was a result of this work.”
De Larrea laughs when asked if he was surprised with scoring 21. He said that it’s special that everyone looks for one another on the court.
