We are very excited to have an online gig on February the 5th, and also a real live gig at @tigerfolk Tigerfolk - Formerly Traditions at the Tiger on the 8th. We’ll be gigging most of the material from our CD that both Mojo and Guardian placed in their top 10 Folk albums of 2021

Delighted that Unearthing made the @guardian’s Top 10 Folk albums of 2021 theguardian.com/music/2021/d…

A superb review in Liverpool Sound & Vision “Sophisticated and stunning, Patterson & Dipper are uniquely qualified to catch the audience’s attention, and by Unearthing & baring their souls in this joint venture, they complement the time & the precious sound with beauty & ease.”

Lovely review in @FolkLondonMag "This album struck a deep and resonant chord... A rich collection of powerful songs arranged and delivered beautifully in a distinctive folk idiom by two stalwarts of the genre. Aficionados of the English folk tradition will not be disappointed."

Lovely review of Unearthing in @MOJOmagazine by Colin Irwin - ‘a record of explorative wonder… folk song is rarely more sophisticated’ We’re delighted that the CD is being so well received!

Delighted that @PetrocTrelawny played one of the tracks from the album this morning on @BBCRadio3 bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000skk…

Lovely words from @juderogers @guardian “Unearthing is another ambitious, affecting project, reshaping English classical songs into the folk idiom. Patterson’s voice has the solid, sensual heft of Nic Jones or Dick Gaughan, while Dipper’s viola d’amore has texture, grit & grace.”

Lovely album review on @Folkmaster “Unearthing is an album that combines traditional music, poetry, 20th century composers and refined musicianship. It really is delightful.” Dai Jeffries folking.com/patterson-dipper…
