So far in the Michigan State-Nebraska game:
- Holding called on an MSU DL rushing a blocked punt?
- Late hit out of bounds for a player tackled while sprinting downfield in bounds??
- Unsportsmanlike conduct on MSU for being taunted by other team???
Get it together refs

Remarkable statistic:
Prior to Western Michigan, college football teams were 110,352 - 0 when leading after the end of regulation, dating back to 1869.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS:
Approximately one hour after announcing his resignation, the following statements attributed to U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Randy George became a trending topic on social media:
"Donald Trump absolutely needs to be hospitalized. I'm seriously concerned about his mental state. He's driving the U.S. military to disaster."

Asked Lance Taylor about the second being put on the clock. Said he hasn’t seen the TV copy but saw live that it was “past zeroes” before one of WMU’s players touched it. Also said MAC commissioner Jon Steinbrecher may already be in touch with the B1G

The great thing about college football is that if the committee wants to, it can just decide that it’s treating that game as a win for Western Michigan and a loss for Michigan.
DO THE RIGHT THING @CFBPlayoff
Dear NCAA: This is your moment.
You've been rendered almost completely powerless over the last few years as the courts have effectively stripped you of all authority. Reversing this outcome will put you back in a place of goodwill with the fans and will serve as a clear and identifiable example of how the NCAA can still exert power.
And I've got some good news for you: the game error wasn't in the judgment of an official, but instead, an administrative error with the clock. Due to the fact that you can objectively determine that the game was over, and that an adminstrative mistake extended it, there should be no reason NOT to give the win back to Western Michigan.
Again, this is your moment NCAA. You don't get many of these. Don't screw it up.

Hard to come up with exact numbers, but I think the officials error of putting back one more second cost Western Michigan somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 million.

The Big Ten will quietly acknowledge the screwup and then sweep it under the rug and then power conference refs will just keep doing versions of the same thing going forward forever. Source: I watch college football.

NBC rules analyst Terry McAulay:
“The ball clearly doesn’t touch a player by the time the clock hits 0:00.”
How badly did Western Michigan just get shafted?
As far as I can tell, no college football game has ever been protested and the winning team changed, but if I am Western Michigan's Athletic Director, I am protesting the outcome of this game. Nothing in that replay justifies the decision to put one second back on the clock
