I commend people like Nyesom Wike when he talks about the Rainbow Coalition. As I leave here now, I'm going back to Imo State, and we are going to start the Rainbow Coalition in Imo State. We will bring the PDP to support Tinubu to win. Some people will step down their position to make sure we achieve our common goal. Hope cannot carry Imo State. It's only in Abuja /Villa that Hope Uzodimma exists.

This is the kind of leadership Nigeria needs. Thank you PO @PeterObi for going to the grassroots to listen, not just to speak.
Your stop at Nkalagu and Ezillo, especially interacting with our market women, shows you understand where the real economy lives. And giving a voice to persons living with disabilities in Abakaliki is true compassion in action.
You captured the heart of the issues: insecurity, corruption, bad hospitals and schools, and most importantly, restoring dignity to all Nigerians.
Your promise of one functional PHC per ward, uniting the country, tackling insecurity and investing in education and health is exactly what gives us hope.
A New Nigeria is truly POssible! Ebonyi has spoken.

Peter Obi will not stop at the airport to address you people, talk about how there is no electricity at the airport, and then jet back to Abuja within ten minutes of addressing you.
Do you see how he is visiting all the states in Nigeria? This is a sign of a committed leader who holds the interests of Nigerians to heart and will not turn the UK and France into his second home.
Remember when Tinubu visited Jos following the deadly attacks in Plateau State? He met community representatives near the airport and reportedly told them, “You have no light here, I'll fly out in ten minutes.”
Nigerians, the ball is in your court.
Will you join the boat of prosperity and fight for your country's freedom from the hands of politicians who don't think you're worth their time, or will you fold your hands and endure more years of bad leadership under the APC?

One good thing about history is that it has a way of deleting nonsense.
You see the way Dave Umahi and Chukwuma Soludo are claiming to be a match and in the same pedestal with Peter Obi? When the roll call of their generation is called they will not be able to appear in the same sentence with Obi.
If you've ever read books on political history, you will understand how brutal history is, in not recording nonsense. Even some of the people hailing the likes of Umahi and Soludo today may need to drop Peter Obi's name to advance their political causes.
And the reason is simple, Obi has paid a bigger price than the duo can ever pay in politics. Soludo became CBN Governor and was able to in a short while purchase a house of £2.1m in London as far back as 2006. Umahi owns almost a village in Ebonyi and numerous acquisitions just because he became Governor.
The duo has lost nothing to be in politics. However, for the past 4 years, Peter Obi has taken on the entire Nigeria's dangerous and corrupt political establishment, and has pushed them against the wall. This is something the duo of Soludo and Umahi can never attempt.
Have you wondered why when anyone who wants to or becomes the Governor of Imo state mentions Late Sam Mbakwe? It doesn't mean that the man didn't face opposition during his time, but it's because history will always separate the wheat from the chaff.
The same applies to some of the names in African politics that history accords a golden place, Nelson Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah, Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Julius Nyerere, Aminu Kano, others.
The duo of Soludo and Umahi have eaten their cakes, and are still fighting to have it. But unfortunately for them those who have eaten their cakes only make it to the history books as villains, not heroes!

FG to begin Construction of the Lekki Green Line Metro in December 2026 starting from Phase 1A (Lekki phase 1- Sangotedo station), Lagos State 🇳🇬
Lagos is moving closer to expanding its urban rail network as the Federal Government targets December 2026 for the commencement of construction of the Lekki Green Line Metro, a major railway project designed to connect Lagos Island with the rapidly developing Lekki and Ibeju-Lekki corridors.
The proposed Green Line is part of the Lagos Strategic Transport Master Plan, an ambitious initiative aimed at improving mass transportation and providing more efficient connections between different parts of the state.
The railway is expected to cover approximately 69.7 kilometres, running from Marina on Lagos Island to the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Ibeju-Lekki, with 17 proposed stations along the corridor.
Some of the locations along the planned route include Marina, Civic Centre, Lekki Phase 1, Freedom Way, Jakande Market, Chevron, Ajah, Ogombo, Sangotedo, Lakowe, Eleko, Ibeju, Lekki Airport and the Lekki Free Trade Zone.
One of the major developments is the planned commencement of Phase 1A, covering the Lekki First Toll Gate to Sangotedo section. This is the initial section identified in the latest project update, with construction targeted to begin in December 2026.
The engineering design of the Green Line also makes it an interesting infrastructure project. Rather than running entirely on elevated bridges, the proposed railway will combine elevated and ground-level sections. Approximately 11.9 kilometres will be elevated, while about 57.8 kilometres will run at ground level.
The railway is also being designed around modern eight-car train sets, with a projected maximum operating speed of 100 kilometres per hour and an estimated passenger capacity of 35,000 people per hour in each direction.
Beyond providing another means of transportation, the project is expected to address some of the mobility challenges along the Lekki-Epe corridor, where population growth, residential estates, commercial activities and industrial developments have increased pressure on existing road infrastructure.
Its proposed connection with the existing Blue Line at Marina is another important feature. This will create an opportunity for passengers to transfer between the two railway systems, gradually improving connectivity across different parts of Lagos.
The economic implications could also extend beyond transportation. Improved access to residential and commercial districts could support business activities, create employment opportunities and encourage further investment around railway stations.
Its planned extension towards the Lekki Free Trade Zone is particularly significant because the area is emerging as an important industrial and commercial destination, with major developments such as the Lekki Deep Sea Port and other industrial investments.
On the financing side, the Federal Government provided counterpart funding provisions of ₦146.14 billion in the 2025 budget and ₦102.3 billion in the 2026 budget for the project.
In April 2026, the Federal Executive Council approved contracts for the Lagos Green Line, Kano Metro City Rail and Kaduna Light Rail projects, with the three projects collectively estimated at approximately $3 billion.
The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) is central to the state’s rail development programme, while the Federal Government is involved in the financing arrangements. China Harbour Engineering Company has been identified as the contractor for the Green Line project.
When completed, the proposed 70-kilometre railway will represent an important addition to Lagos’ transportation infrastructure, particularly for communities and businesses along the Lekki corridor.
More importantly, it reflects the growing need for cities to develop transportation systems alongside population growth, housing expansion and industrial development.

BREAKING: Angry Imolite Dismantles Road Sign Named After Ganduje for celebrating with Okorocha

The lone Imolite can be heard in the video complaining that Ganduje is a betrayer who made himself available and has since become the only personality seen publicly rejoicing with Okorocha, despite the Imo Governor having honored him by naming a road in the state capital after him.
He said:
"After Everything anyi mere ya na Imo State, oya wu the first person gara congratulate Rochas"

What is happening right now is a viral false video.
Multiple fact-checkers today, October 30, 2026, have traced the clip being shared on X and Facebook:
- The video shows a man pointing a gun at a speaker at a podium who is then tackled by security.
- It is not Netanyahu. It is Bulgarian politician Ahmed Dogan, leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, during his party congress in Sofia on January 19, 2013. The weapon was a gas pistol that misfired and Dogan was unharmed.
- Reverse image searches and contemporaneous BBC, AP and Guardian coverage from 2013 confirm the incident.
- No Israeli media, government statement, or international wire is reporting an attack on Netanyahu in Tel Aviv. Google News searches show no such reports.
The false claim spiked after Israel's October 27 election, with posts saying Netanyahu was attacked in Tel Aviv and is being flown to the US, that claim has been rated False.
If you saw a video with the caption Breaking: dangerous attack on @netanyahu , that's the recycled 2013 Bulgaria clip.

For the first time in Nigeria's political history, we have a politician who, after serving in public office, has publicly challenged anyone to produce incriminating evidence of corruption against him, saying he would stop contesting if such evidence is found.
And after years in public service, you are still struggling to decide who deserves your vote?
@PeterObi is not a saint, and nobody should expect any politician to be one. But Nigerians should be paying attention to his record, public statements, policies and approach to governance rather than making decisions based solely on political sentiments.
I would have said, "Vote your conscience," but honestly, I don't TRUST your conscience anymore, I think we need to start examining what informs that conscience.
How can a government go into a campaign and, instead of proudly saying, "THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN FOUR YEARS". Instead, they spend so much time telling Nigerians what it WILL do while attacking the opposition.
Nigerians deserve more than campaign promises.
We deserve accountability, measurable achievements and leadership that understands public service is a responsibility, not a privilege.
We can do better, Nigeria.
And remember, voting for someone does not mean giving them a lifetime mandate. If they fail to deliver, we have another opportunity to vote them out.
THAT IS HOW DEMOCRACY SHOULD WORK.

Asari Dokubo has just unveiled his newly acquired bulletproof Cadillac Escalade SUV, reportedly worth over N500 million, excluding shipping costs.
This comes at a time when his hometown Buguma continues to face serious challenges. Many residents in the village still lack access to clean drinking water due to oil spill pollution, and the healthcare system remains dysfunctional, leaving children, women and the elderly struggling for basic medical care.
Dokubo, who once said he took up arms to fight for the economic survival of the Niger Delta, has now acquired a luxury vehicle worth over half a billion Naira.
The agitation was for resource control, but it now appears the benefits are not reaching the very people the struggle was meant for.

A mother pays nearly $300 for her 3-year-old to play soccer, yet he allegedly plays only 10 minutes of a 30-minute game. When she asks for accountability, the league calls the police.
Winter Park, Florida.
This is the core issue in the Nevada Pierre case.
His parents paid almost $300 to enroll their toddler in a youth soccer league. According to the family, every time Nevada started scoring, he was benched.
Why should a parent pay full price for limited participation?
That was the mother's question.
She wanted to know why her hard-earned money was funding a program that was not allowing her son to fully participate. Instead of addressing her concern, the league director called the police and described the parents as unruly.
That raises a bigger issue.
Why is it that when a Black mother advocates for her child, she is labeled as aggressive, difficult, or disruptive? Sometimes she is simply a mother asking questions that need answers.
According to the bodycam report, Nevada's mother was explaining her frustration. She paid for a service and expected her child to receive the full experience. That is not an unreasonable request.
The league reportedly offered a refund, and the police report confirmed the parents cooperated and left without incident. No arrest. No charges. Just parents advocating for their child.
This child is three years old. He loves the game, and his parents believe he is being penalized for being talented.
This is not about denying other children playing time. You do not need to suppress one child's ability to create space for others.
What is most concerning is that a legitimate parental concern became a police matter. A mother should not have to worry about law enforcement being called because she questioned how her money was spent and how her child was treated.
She was not asking for special treatment. She was asking for what she paid for.
If you paid $300 for your child to participate and he was repeatedly sidelined, would you not ask questions?
