Stocks continue to push toward record highs even as the Federal Reserve expands liquidity, inflation shows signs of turning higher, and investors grapple with the possibility of the largest energy shock in modern history. What happens when more money enters the system just as inflation begins to turn higher? Chris Martenson joins Market Insider below to discuss. youtube.com/watch?v=MCAI1W07…

As soon as gold hits $100,000 per gram, this is going to be a minor threat.
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

The sulfur shortage is hitting mining...and next year phosphate fertilizers. Amazing how little apparent concern there is about this in the news.
This is the harbinger of what's coming for the copper industry... Jubilee Metals, a small copper producer in Zambia, reports that sulfuric acid costs surged over 200%, while diesel costs jumped 90%. The shortages have already hit copper production... Some metal processors in the region were even forced to temporarily shut down production amid sulfuric acid shortages and soaring diesel costs. And this is just the beginning... You can't produce copper without the physical inputs.

Fuel oil is up 15.3% month-over-month, and gasoline is up 9.1%. At some point, the things we "have to have" will get so expensive that the things we "want to have" may actually start to go down because nobody has enough money left over. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/wo6b…

"We are now 3 full generations removed from the dollar being backed by #gold and 5 from having gold as currency. You don't remember what your great-grandparents told you because you probably never met them, and that's how we forget, and that's why we don't appreciate the precious metals the way other countries do." ~ Dana Samuelson of American Gold Exchange Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/btci…

If we get a third wave of inflation, as we did in the 70s, who knows how high #gold could go. Dana Samuelson believes we're in a consolidation phase and that we'll eventually surpass the buying spree we saw last year. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/mzcg…

The US and other Western countries will have no choice but to sacrifice the purchasing power of their currencies in order to save their bond markets. You may want to have #gold in that scenario. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/io6d…

"It sounds like we're going to hit one of those moments where everything breaks and the price spikes for those that can afford to pay, which will be most countries because the world runs on diesel... What happens when we get to diesel reserve tank bottom levels? That's going to create a global economic shock." ~ Dana Samuelson of American Gold Exchange Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/vcdp…

Hot CPI + hotter PPI = cost-push inflation is here, and companies are already eating the margin hit. Under the surface, most of the S&P is quietly leaving the field while a handful of AI names prop up the index. The 10-year sold off hard on the CPI print (as it should), then immediately reversed in a sharp V-bottom. Bonds hate inflation, unless someone is stepping in to force the opposite result. Same pattern as the CFTC being told to stand down on obvious oil insider trading. Someone is working overtime to keep the "markets" behaving before the midterms. My prediction? Gravity will still win. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/1g7v… #markets #economy

Legendary short-seller Jim Chanos explains why this AI boom carries more financial risk than almost any boom in history. It's the first boom in the modern era that has all four bubble drivers: government policy, technology, credit, and real estate. Prepare accordingly. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/frqi…

The futures market says oil will be worth $70 in one year. Price suppression like this has real consequences. Namely, Exxon has decided it won't drill faster in the Permian. We need more oil coming out of the ground, not less. Forcing lower prices stops this from happening. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/sqwx…

The fact that #silver is holding at $60 per ounce tells us that the market's here to stay at higher prices. That said, higher energy prices from the Iran conflict may be reducing demand to some degree. ~ Dana Samuelson of American Gold Exchange Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/q2ef…

Judging by the bond markets, the oil/diesel/gas markets, and the AI markets, there are almost certainly going to be some issues. If you're over the FDIC limit of $250k in deposits, you may want to develop a plan for ensuring your deposits are protected. This is not a time for complacency. On September 29th, at exactly 1:35 am, the market decided to start selling oil, buying stocks, and buying bonds. Absolutely nothing happened in the news at 1:35 am. The market changed direction purely because the algorithms received some sort of signal that it was time to sell oil, buy stocks, and buy bonds. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/71ii…

According to Dana Samuelson of American Gold Exchange, higher bond yields are pressuring #gold down temporarily. In 2022, after yields spiked and the Fed raised rates, gold took off. Will we see the same thing happen soon? Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/g8nm…

ZeroHedge reports hyperscaler off-balance-sheet liabilities are at $3.8 trillion as of September 30, up $700 billion since June. Hyperscalers are so big right now they're even crowding out the Treasury market! Who bought that $700 billion? Insurance companies, pensions, money market funds? If/when it blows up, it will not be good for most people. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/bnpw…

The 30-year US government bond just hit 5.7% for the first time since 2002. Either there are a lot of sellers, or there's a buyers' strike. I think it's the latter and, in fact, Goldman Sachs had a report out recently that called the bond market "bidless." So, the U.S. government had to step in, create the market so there was the appearance of liquidity because it's kind of embarrassing if the world's deepest, most liquid market is going bidless. Gold and silver have been suspiciously quiet since the Iran war started, even as Trump and Bessent openly say the debt will be inflated away. I sat down with Dana Samuelson of American Gold Exchange this week to dig into why. Higher oil has lifted inflation expectations, bond yields, and the dollar. Non-yielding metals get pressured in the short term. China being on holiday didn’t help. Dana sees this as consolidation after the big 2025-early-2026 run, not a broken debasement trade. I see the usual pattern: thin overnight dumps that crush the bid stack, prices that are set rather than discovered. The same games are playing out in oil. Prompt physical is dramatically higher than the front-month curve producers actually use when deciding whether to drill. That gap is why shortages in diesel, copper (and its byproduct silver), sulfuric acid, and fertilizer keep getting papered over... until they aren’t. Manipulation buys time - it doesn’t create molecules or prevent the eventual print-and-debase response. Physical #gold and #silver, held rather than lent, are what survive that. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/zpar… Prepare accordingly.

Dated Brent, which is oil for delivery right now, is $35 more expensive than the more widely reported Brent futures price. Manipulation and algorithms can push futures prices lower, so maybe we should be paying closer attention to the price of oil today. Full report: peakprosperity.pulse.ly/cbjf…
