Rest in Peace Walter Koenig. Thank you for navigating us through the final frontier, and bringing us such joy through your years of activism, writing, and memorable characters like the joyous Chekov and the sinister Bester. We're forever grateful that you lent your talents to our game. We'll see you again, in the stars.

Sad hearing about the passing of Walter Koenig. I remember the series on TV when I was young. Difficult to believe 35 years since the last Star Trek Movie with the original crew, The Undiscovered Country. youtube.com/watch?v=z7MhpM1d…
🖖 FAREWELL, MR. CHEKOV. Another beloved member of the original Star Trek crew has taken his final voyage. Walter Koenig, who brought Ensign Pavel Chekov to life, has passed away at 90. For those of us who grew up watching the USS Enterprise explore strange new worlds, these weren't simply television characters. They were part of our childhoods, our imaginations, and our belief that humanity could build a better future. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Uhura, Sulu, and Chekov. A crew that taught us about courage, friendship, loyalty, and the endless possibilities beyond the stars. Now, only William Shatner and George Takei remain. But those adventures- and the people who brought them to life - will never truly leave us. The Enterprise will always have a full crew in our memories. Rest in peace, Mr. Koenig. Second star to the right, and straight on till morning. 🖖💔 ~ MLF

Ukraine isn’t asking the world to fight our war. We’re asking the world to stop rewarding the country that started it.

The U.S. government needs to suspend all current contracts with Musk companies. To rely on 1 company is foolish. Musk gave proof you cannot put all of your eggs in one basket and need to have other options. Musk has too much power which needs to be taken away from him.
It’s obvious who Elon Musk is working for. 🤬

Starlink is going to have to be regulated the same way we regulate cellphones, internet, etc. And Elon is making that job easier for Congress.

Elon Musk is without a doubt the most grotesque example of extreme wealth being mistaken for virtuous genius that I’ve ever seen, no contest. A dude whose business empire has had the exceptional luxury of upwards of $38 BILLlON in government contracts, loans, subsidies, and tax credits that lectures us on government waste, fraud, and abuse. He takes a literal fucking chainsaw to government aid, while hundreds of thousands die from the lack of access, and simultaneously engorges himself at the public pig trough of endless money. He then takes the grift cash to buy elections, outright rig them, gains extraordinary access to the backrooms and convinces panting sycophants that he’s “fighting the establishment.” He IS the establishment. Years and years of missed deadlines, self driving promises just around the corner. Spectacular theatrical marketing presentations presented as new technology, with an army of ball riding zombies to explain why his latest failure is actually evidence of 5D chess wizardry. All in line to be the friend he doesn’t have. He was emailing Epstein to find about the “wildest parties” on child rape island, and you people still clamber. Speaking of mouth breathing followers, the cult surrounding him is even more disturbingly dangerous. Every glaring contradiction becomes an insult worthy misunderstanding. Every dumb comment is a masterpiece. Every legitimate totally fair criticism becomes proof that the questioner is stupid, jealous, or secretly working against humanity itself. It’s so blatantly a cult. At what point does this bizarre admiration become deliberately and completely giving up independent thought? You can acknowledge the success of his companies and the remarkable engineering feats without cosplaying that he’s some infallible prophet. And give his employees some credit. He’s a trillionaire with huge political influence, a pretty pathetic appetite for public attention indicative of someone that’s insecure, and a documented history of promise after promise that he doesn’t deliver on. Please, don’t confuse money with intelligence. They rarely go hand in hand. Also, realize that proximity to great power is not synonymous with moral authority. The truth is historically the opposite. And for fucks sake, stop worshipping people who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire.

I’m canceling my X subscription. I will NOT financially contribute to a trillionaire whose actions threaten Ukraine’s ability to defend itself. 🇺🇦 I stand with Ukraine, not billionaires who treat human lives like bargaining chips. Not another dime from me. I will continue posting the evening totals because Ukraine still matters, and so do the people fighting for its freedom. 💙💛🇺🇦 #StandWithUkraine

Elon Musk didn’t create Tesla. He bought it. He didn’t create X. He bought Twitter and ruined it. He didn’t invent the rockets, propulsion systems or telemetry of SpaceX. He used NASA tech and poached their engineers. He’s a venture capitalist and a college dropout. That’s it.

Vin Scully and Joe Garagiola two of the best. Instead of listening to themselves talk after the ball got by Buckner, they were quiet and let the audience enjoy the moment and get a feel of what it was like at Shea that night.
40 years ago today, the Mets beat the Red Sox in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series.

Gas never $4 a gallon for 8 straight years. You lie as easily as Trump.
Gas was over. $4 a gallon for 8 years in a row under Obama and democrats never said a word. Democrats care about votes, not gas prices.

That is a lie and you know it. Gas was never over $4 a gallons for for 8 straight years. We see some states today are suspending their state sales tax on gas to try and lower prices due to Trump f—king up the economy with his War.

What @elonmusk is doing to control the war is a reason @NASA has to oversee the launch providers. Musk had already threatened to stop flying Crew Dragon when he got angry with Trump. Can't have a single individual control our space industry or national defense.

Elon Musk’s reported order to restrict Starlink service stripped Ukraine of critical defenses while Russia rains down missiles and drones on civilians. Congress should exercise our authority to investigate Musk’s reported decision and any White House involvement, compel testimony, and hold those responsible accountable. We must stand with Ukraine as it defends its people and its democracy from Putin’s aggression. wsj.com/world/ukraine-starli…
