Dave is a sweet 6 year old male cat. He is looking for a new home.
Dave is registered at the vets and healthy with no issues.
He is a house cat and would be best in a home with no young kids or other pets.
He likes a mix of wet and dry food.
Dave likes his home comforts and will sleep near his owner at night or on his cat tree.
He also enjoys his toys and likes to hide these around the house.
Dave can be shy at first but once he gets to know his new owner he is very loving and does his own thing.
Dave is a great companion and would suit someone who is on their own.

Two innocent ponies. Emaciated, neglected and left to die in a field. π
Tonight, we had to go alongside An Garda SΓochΓ‘na to remove these two poor ponies from a field not far from Dublin.
We are absolutely devastated, disgusted and angry.π‘π‘π‘π‘
How can this happen? How can people watch two innocent animals deteriorate like this and do absolutely nothing?ππ‘
These ponies are severely emaciated. They are weak, exhausted and in a terrible condition. When they arrived at the veterinary hospital, they just kept drinking and drinking. They were so so thirsty.
They will need urgent veterinary attention, treatment for suspected worm burden and a long road to recovery if they make it ππππ
They are not microchipped, but we sincerely hope that whoever is responsible will be identified and held accountable. Animals cannot speak for themselves. They depend on us to protect them.π
We are sickened that this level of suffering can happen. What has happened to compassion? What has happened to Ireland?
There is no excuse for this. None.π‘π‘π‘
But tonight, at least, these two beautiful souls are SAFE. β€οΈ

Youβll need to move it the day you light it, or fence off the building area NOW, to prevent wildlife deaths.
A hedgehog who has made it as a nest wonβt move if you poke her with a broom, light the bonfire from one side, shine a torch under, or any of the other myths that you have read from well meaning sites.
Theyβll just stay in a frightened ball and be burnt to death.

A defenceless dog was struck twice over the head with a hammer, stabbed through the chest and left to die in agony. Her owner then concealed her body in woodland.
Glenn Tweedie, 64, initially told Scottish SPCA inspectors that his black Labrador, Caillie, had been euthanised by a vet because she was suffering pain linked to her reproductive cycle.
But when an inspector said he would verify the story with the vet, Tweedie admitted he had killed her himself, claiming he could not afford the veterinary bill.
His own account was horrifying. He struck Caillie twice over the head with a hammer, leaving her conscious and in extreme pain, before stabbing her through the chest with a large knife. He had aimed for her heart but pierced her lung instead.
A post-mortem found no evidence of the reproductive-system pain he had claimed she was suffering from. The evidence indicated that her suffering began when he attacked her. The stab wound caused catastrophic blood loss, leaving her to bleed to death.
Afterwards, he put Caillieβs body in a bag and took her to nearby woodland. Her remains were discovered at the bottom of a ditch, hidden beneath branches.
His other Labrador, Jura, was seized and taken into Scottish SPCA care.
On 28 October 2026, Tweedie was sentenced at Edinburgh Sheriff Court. He received a lifetime ban on keeping animals, a 12-month Restriction of Liberty Order and an 18-month supervision order. No prison sentence was imposed.
The Scottish SPCA inspector described it as the most upsetting case he had encountered in three years, calling it βthe most eye-wateringly violent conduct towards a completely innocent petβ.
Caillie endured repeated blows, a fatal stab wound and a prolonged death. Her body was then hidden in a ditch. Yet her killer walked away without a prison sentence.
How is the public supposed to have confidence in animal cruelty sentencing when a case involving this level of violence ends without immediate imprisonment?

Newborns and mothers are extremely vulnerable to disturbanceβif they're looking at you, you're too close.
Stay at least 100 m away, keep quiet and don't fly drones.
Keep dogs on a leadβbetter still, keep them off the beach altogether at this time.
If you scare away the mother, the pup won't be fed, and won't gain the weight it needs to survive.
Never approach, touch or move a pup.
A pup alone is not necessarily abandoned, its mother may be feeding at sea.

Like everyone in recovery I know many people who gave died from this disease as Matthew Perry so tragically did. When it comes to newspaper columnists I prefer Bryony Gordon to Peter Hitchens, thank you, and for Hitchens to say Matthew "might be alive" if he had listened to him is as ignorant as it is offensive. Addiction is a disease. Denying it is dangerous and irresponsible. The good news is there is hope and there is a solution but that solution is not Mr Hitchens.

Yesterday, a Coventry fan used a photograph of Bradley to taunt Sunderland supporters.
As Bradleyβs mam, this is heartbreaking, especially as itβs one of my favourite photographs of him. Just look at that smile.
I remember that day like it was yesterday. He was so happy, having so much fun. Those moments were precious because they were few and far between. So much of Bradleyβs short life was spent battling cancer and enduring treatments no child should ever face.
To see such a beautiful memory used in such a cruel way really does make my heart hurt. π
We are a football-loving family who follow Sunderland home and away. Iβm all for football banter, but surely mocking a child who died from cancer is not banter?
I hope the club takes appropriate action and the young ladβs family help him understand how hurtful his actions were. I donβt want hatred directed towards him, so please please don't, just for him to learn from this.
Behind that photograph is a little boy who was loved beyond measure and a family who miss him every day.
Thank you to everyone who has defended Bradley and shown us so much love. It means more than you know. β€οΈ
What some people donβt realise is that Bradleyβs story didnβt end when his life did.
Because of Bradley, childrenβs lives are being saved, hundreds of families have received vital support, and children facing unimaginable battles are being given hope.
Through Super Bradβs Pad, families can escape hospital life, spend precious time together and make memories that last forever.
That is Bradleyβs legacy. The difference my little boy continues to make in this world. No amount of cruelty will ever take that away.
So rather than let this photograph be remembered for hatred, I want it remembered for what it truly represents.
My beautiful little boy, enjoying one of the happiest days of his life, with the biggest smile on his face. π
That is how I want the world to remember him.
