When we follow the long‑running line of mind‑influence research forward from the university experiments of the sixties and seventies, we come to Cambridge Analytica — the firm that took those old psychological methods and scaled them up for the digital age. The roots go back decades: the behavioural‑shaping studies funded under Project MK‑Ultra at Harvard and Stanford, plus later personality‑profiling work carried out at Cambridge University.  These researchers learned how to map people’s traits, vulnerabilities and reactions — knowledge that sat waiting until social media gave a way to apply it to millions at once . In the early 2010s, Cambridge‑based psychologists developed a way to build detailed personality profiles from what people liked, shared and did online — using what is known as the OCEAN personality model.  Cambridge Analytica used a Facebook quiz‑style app to gather data from tens of millions of people, building profiles that could show which messages people would be most easily swayed by.  Their plan was to send targeted content to shape how people thought, felt and voted — putting decades‑old laboratory‑tested influence techniques out into the wider world . Though the original firm shut down after the scandal, the methods they pioneered did not disappear.  Today these same profiling systems link up with satellite networks like Starlink, brain‑computer interfaces such as Neuralink, and digital payment systems including PayPal — all part of the wider transhuman‑Agenda 2030 pattern we have been tracing.  It is another step in that long chain: early university behavioural tests → digital mass profiling → modern satellite‑linked influence technology.
