Penn State at @UW_Football next week will be at 12:30 pm or 1:15 pm.
Year 30 and @WNBA can’t get its most important game right. Wow.
Ramona Shelburne on what could happen if the WNBA title is won on Thursday:
"That celebration may not actually be on that court. I've heard there are discussions about whether there's enough time to turn the arena over in time for the fans to celebrate on the court. It could be moved to a practice court"
Unreal man smh
Horrendous decision to a thorny problem with no good solutions.
Still, this is on departing Commissioner Cathy Engelbert and the final blemish on a rocky tenure.
NEW YORK, Oct. 26, 2026 – Game 6 of the WNBA Finals between the Golden State Valkyries and Atlanta Dream will be played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Thursday, October 29 at 12:30 p.m. ET, the WNBA announced today.
The game, originally scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, will still air on USA Network and stream on Peacock.
To accommodate the Finals game, the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks have agreed to move the start time of their regular-season game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers to 8:00 p.m. ET.
Washington Huskies coach Jedd Fisch said Monday that he’ll make a “game-time” decision on who starts at quarterback: Demond Williams Jr. or Elijah Brown.
FINAL: Washington State 84, Washington 80
Watts: 28 pts, 6 reb, 2 ast
Sommerville: 19 pts, 4 reb
Dzepina: 16 pts, 12 reb, 3 ast
UW outrebounded 40-32 and shot (26.1%) 6 of 23 on 3FGs in exhibition
This is Year 30 for the @WNBA and these things are happening. That's ridiculous.
There will definitively be a Game 6 of the WNBA Finals in Atlanta. But nobody knows yet where or even when the game will be played despite a furious round of negotiations spilling into Sunday between the WNBA, NBA, Valkyries, Dream and Atlanta Hawks, sources told ESPN.
"There are problems with all the solutions," one source close to the situation said.
What else we know, with @ramonashelburne

It’s not November, but if teams aren’t securing their players for next season, then they’re falling behind.
Forget what you thought you knew about recruiting.
Former @UW_Football assistant HC and Oregon State coach JaMarcus Shephard gets a big win.
Breaking: Oregon State star freshman WR Jesse Legree has re-signed with the Beavers and will return to play there in 2027, he tells @PeteThamel.
Legree has been the country’s breakout freshman star for JaMarcus Shephard at Oregon State, as he leads the nation in receiving yards (1,040), touchdown catches (14) and receiving yards per game (148.6).
Just estimates. College football needs more transparency. NIL deals should fall under open-records law, but they don’t. And that’s a major problem.
The cost of doing business in Big Ten Football...

Bob Chesney might be new favorite coach.
WATCH: UCLA head coach Bob Chesney’s pregame speech before upsetting Oregon:
“Burn the f****** boats. There is no way out. We can’t go that way. You got to go through those mother f******.”😳

This is huge and needed to happen.
But what about a possible Game 6?

Jedd Fisch says @UW_Football is next to last in Big Ten in NIL funding and financial support.
In a report, @TheAthletic estimated UW’s budget is between $21M-$25M, which ranks in bottom half of Big Ten.
Fisch on injured QB Demond Williams Jr. not returning to sideline in second half: “We needed to take care of him medically.”
Jedd Fisch on @UW_Football defensive performance last Friday: “Probably the worst since we’ve been here.”
