We came with hand painted scarves to hold above our heads reading “Save Women’s Sports.”
Our group was made of mostly lesbians who shared their own personal irony of feeling unsafe in a sea of pink and blue flags.
The pink and blue flags have come to be synonymous with anti-free speech, male boundary violation, and anti-consent.
We stood in @xx_xyathletics shirts that symbolize fairness and integrity for women and girls. Our voices matter. And we refuse to be silenced.

I wish a state-wide law was not the answer. As a society we've lost the "default to try" mindset and immediately jump to "there should be a law." That's not how America became the worlds powerhouse. We have become afraid of anything new.

In the age of AI, where YouTube and platforms can identify a copyright violation in seconds.... why is the US Copyright office still unable to complete a copyright review in a reasonable time? Weeks is absurd, much less months from an electronic submission!
I find it amusing that b/c he knows its Taylor Swift he immediately goes to the "teenage girl" tripe with "My Tears Ricochet" after the first verse yet this song isn't about teenaged girl stuff or lost "love" in the traditional way at all. It speaks volumes about his own biases.

Evidently, I can criticize the Democrats all day long and be showered with eternal praise, but if I dare to attempt holding the party that claims to represent my values accountable for failing to deliver on core campaign promises, well, that’s a bridge too far and it makes me a “liberal.”
I’m apparently a “liberal” and “commie” because I don’t like being $40 trillion in debt, want massive spending cuts to be made to welfare and entitlements, and don’t want my tax dollars going to fund endless wars in the Middle East.
I’m getting tired of the MAGA faction’s conformist personality; they’re just like Democrats that way. I’m tired of treating elected officials like they’re God or all-knowing oracles who cannot be questioned. I’m tired of treating politics like a team sport.
Members of Congress and the President are elected to represent us in the federal government. They are not there to rule us. They are just federal employees who are supposed to work for us.
I’m done with Democrats. I’m done with Republicans. I’m done with this the two-party system. Two wings. Same bird. The illusion of choice.
Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves.
Burn it to the ground.

@VerizonSupport you really need to fix your online chat support so it doesn't time out on you without notice and force you into another session that you have to completely rehash with first the bot and then human agent. I have wasted so many minutes and hours over the last month.
I'm a D5 Minneapolis voter. I merely asked this person who was door knocking for Ilhan Omar why I should vote for her. I was genuinely asking. He turned off replies. I have asked this of many Omar supporters in this way. They almost never answer. I honestly am trying to learn.
