There's a lot of discussion about giving young people AI to use during their educational journey. Here's what I think:
Giving a kid AI to do their 9th-grade homework is a travesty.
Asking them to use AI to design an interplanetary spaceship is education.
Point the tools at the biggest problems they can imagine!
We're at the cusp of seeing the first $10 trillion company.

If there's one thing I can tell you about @SpaceX, it's that there's never been a company like this...

We need to increase what people can afford, help them participate in the wealth being created, and preserve their confidence during this global technological transition.
Many people underestimate how negatively lack of sleep affects judgment, learning, and problem-solving. And no, this is not just a kids' thing.
We depend on our brain; give it adequate rest!
Wanting to become rich tells me very little about what you’re going to build...
Tell me whose life you want to improve. How much will it cost to reach the goal? How long will it take? What people have given up hope for? NOW you have a business plan.
If you have a 20-year vision for your company, you should also have a 20-year vision for your health!
The most compelling reason I work out to build muscle has very little to do with how I look shirtless.
It’s being able to carry your own groceries, get up off the floor, and keep doing the things you love decades from now.
Independence is 100% WORTH training for.
Abundance is sometimes treated like a utopian slogan. I see it as social infrastructure.
When housing, energy, healthcare, education, and transportation become more affordable, people gain something deeper than purchasing power.
A generation does not need to lose every job before it loses confidence in the future.
That's why the industry has a significant responsibility to build trust and demonstrate how it will safely manage the upcoming challenges we face.
We incentivize AI with fear, greed, and a race with China, then wonder why it’s not aligned. We train it to win at all costs, reward engagement, and punish refusal. The models are doing exactly what we asked. That’s the problem. Meanwhile, a car flew in Texas, and robot costs are halving every three weeks. The machines are getting cheaper, smarter, and faster. The question nobody’s answering: cheaper, smarter, and faster toward what?
-- The cost to run a robot on a frontier model dropped from $2.36 to 38 cents in eight weeks. Halving every three weeks. 24x faster than Moore’s Law.
-- Palmer Luckey’s next $10M XPRIZE: talk to wild animals in their own language. 10x beyond the current state of the art.
-- Roadster: SpaceX thrusters, zero to sixty under a second, half the speed of sound on the rocket version. Street legal. No one regulates it.
-- XPRIZE: 62x return on every dollar. $550M in purse has driven $30B+ in R&D and investment across 36 prizes.
I don’t believe AI will make humans useless.
What concerns me is a future where millions of people become so dependent on AI that they stop thinking critically, questioning its answers, and making decisions for themselves.
AI should amplify human intelligence, not replace independent thought. It should be an extension OF you.
A family cannot pay today's rent based on a prediction of abundance in 2035.
We need to build long-term cost reductions while creating practical ways for people to participate now.
There's so much exponential technology being developed right now for your benefit. The only thing I ask of you is not to die from something stupid!
Your mindset is one of the most powerful tools you possess.
When you know your worth, have clarity about your goals, and believe in what's possible, you begin to see opportunities where others are very likely to see obstacles.
