- Dissolved the Board of Directors of Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC)
- Sacked the CEO of Tanzania Government Flight Agency (TGFA), John Nzulule, responsible for buying Air Tanzania planes at inflated costs.
- Ordered Permanent Secretaries to thoroughly review CAG report and take legal action against all those implicated in embezzlement of public funds.
