Mike Vrabel says Ben Brown might be out there for practice this week after missing Thursdayâs game in Chicago.
Asked about AJ Brownâs work in the run game, Mike Vrabel alludes to the fact thereâs room for improvement. As there is with everyone on that side of the ball.
âWe know it takes all 11âŚ. I would say offensively we all have to do a better job. That includes AJ.â
Mike Vrabel is asked about managing players on IR, who might be designated to return, etc.
âFiguring out, one, whoâs healthy. Whoâs healthy enough to return? Some guys arenât.â
Up with the fellas on @ZoandBertrand for the next hour. Lots to get to...

Christian Gonzalez is officially active. The Patriots and Gonzalez both expected him to play and he will be out there. But Gonzo is under the weather for sure I'm told. Nothing appears serious at this time.
#patriots CB Christian Gonzalez is questionable for tonight's game at Chicago with an illness. He came to the stadium and something hit him to where he alerted the training staff. It would be surprising if he didn't play I'm told, but we'll continue to monitor him.

Hereâs the play where it looked like Vera-Tucker injured his right hamstring against the Jets. He stayed on the field for one more snap before leaving the game.
Disappointing outcome for Vera-Tucker, whoâd been playing well. Now on IR, heâll have to miss at least four games.
Found the play Vrabel was referring to when he pointed out that Johnson tried to have a tackle make a pass on a short week in Detroit.
Not the result Johnson (or Penei Sewell) was looking for. But the point stands: The Bears HC is not afraid to get a little weird on a Thursday.
Mike Vrabel and the Patriots are prepared to see some âunscouted looksâ from Ben Johnson and the Bears tonight.
Even on a short week, Johnson isnât afraid to cook something up that opponents havenât seen.

A.J. Brown has a favorable matchup awaiting him in Chicago.
That's just one area spotlighted by @PhilAPerry in this week's matchup preview: nbcsportsboston.com/nfl/new-âŚ
Drake Maye on how the Patriots offense has handled injuries: âIâve been really impressed. It feels like every week somebodyâs stepping up.â
AJ Brown asked about Jalen Hurts, who has been rules out for the season due to blood clots:
âGot a lot of love and respect for him. Praying for him⌠Heâs a tough guy. He can handle anything. I donât mean that lightly⌠Speedy recovery. Nothing but love.â
AJ Brown on how his ankle is feeling: âFeeling good. Feeling good. Bumps and bruises from the first game⌠everything but the ankle.â
Christian Gonzalez on Caleb Williams: âQuarterbacks like this, youâve got to play the second play.â
