It’s good and sound, but not great and triumphant.
It’s the number one movie right now. How much it makes opening weekend doesn’t determine whether it’s good to someone or not.
I absolutely agree that a Clayface movie so early feels off. But I also don’t want DCEU right away.
The budget isn’t really a point worth defending in regards to CLAYFACE.
Listen, even MORBIUS debuted with $39M. CLAYFACE, which is drawn from one of the biggest IP brands in the world, dropped with $15M less than Sony's horror spinoff.
A lower budget may limit the financial damage, but in no way does it create audience demand. And that's the point. Choosing CLAYFACE as the DCU’s third film was the misstep. Oh, and making 3 out of 4 set in the SUPERMAN universe. Yes, the DC brand is in trouble. What's new?

Sit down bro.
Nobody wants to hear what a 40 year old/no kids/no wife twitch streamer thinks on this situation. I’m a clown and even I know that nobody wants my opinion on this.
When we want to know what brothels to hit up then we’ll ask you.
Finished CRYSTAL LAKE.
It's not bad by any means... But it's like a Marvel superhero origin story where Jason gets his "powers" explained. The evil killers only really kill bad people.
It should've ended right where FRIDAY THE 13TH began, but they're clearly doing a 2nd season.

REVIEW — Clayface Is Another Monstrous Misfire for James Gunn’s DCU With No Batman, No Horror, and No Reason to Care
“Clayface isn't completely without merit. Tom Rhys Harries gives a decent performance, and the opening act briefly suggests that the filmmakers might deliver something more interesting than the average comic book adaptation. Unfortunately, those early possibilities are squandered.
The horror gives way to generic revenge plotting, Matt Hagen's psychological collapse is poorly developed, the supporting characters are forgettable, the romance is unconvincing, and the visual effects are inconsistent.
Most disappointingly, the film introduces James Gunn's Gotham City without even acknowledging Batman's existence.
A movie set in Gotham City should at least feel like it takes place in Batman's world.
Clayface fails that basic test.
For a film intended to expand the DC Universe into new genres, it ultimately feels like a missed opportunity rather than a bold creative experiment.”

Gee, I wonder why bad shit constantly seems to happen to Jer?
LOL.
@TheQuartering got fucked over by Stub Hub. He not only was out around 17k, his seats were completely shit at the world series.
Still no update on Huck, or if he is alive.

— On 'Boy Meets World,' the school is terrorized by a killer
It’s a great addition to the DCU.
I don’t get why we got this before a Batman & Robin movie for instance, but I’m pleased they took this film very seriously and made me excited to see more Gotham.
Tom Rhys Harries was fantastic in all aspects and the ending was really good!
Saw it tonight! Really solid flick that stuck the landing with the whole he’s a supervillain aspect!
This is actually psychotic and I’m deeply disturbed. 😦
THIS DISGUSTING POS @TheQuartering actually made a Huck blend of coffee?!?!
You absolutely deserve your fuckin downfall you scumbag..
